TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Just go to Staples. if i could give them NEGATIVE 5 i would. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. i actually went into this exact printing store St Albans Digital Printing Inc. located at: 199-12 Linden Blvd. St. Albans NY 11412 and their customer service is TERRIBLE. i thought i was doing the right thing by supporting a local business, but i was wrong. to explain my experience i went into this establishment (to put in an order for some business cards) & i was not even warmly greeted which i guess i understand since they were closing within less than an hour, nevertheless that is still UNACCEPTABLE. after i politely introduced myself and explained that i was a new artist looking to create some cards so i can hand them out at an upcoming art show) i also mentioned what i would like to have printed (which was a design of an image that i already had, at the bottom of the card and about 4 lines of information at the top). when i was done with my explanation i still then had to ask what the cost would be and what my options would be in order to move forward in regards to the printing process. next, i was asked to create the design myself while standing at the counter which took about 20 minutes for me to explain and draw out an illustration of what i wanted the business card to look like. when the design was completed i was told that he could have the design done by next business day. i was specifically told that i had to pay the entire cost upfront. i told him that i would get paid the next day and he explained he needs the money upfront before he could even create the design on the computer. he also rudely said to me verbatim "you're an artist, so I'm sure you don't work for free either." i was taken aback but i held my composure and politely took his name down and told him to have a good evening. what i expected and what actually happened were two completely different things. i certainly will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. you'd be better off going to staples. they are much more kind, convenient and i found out if you order with staples before 2pm you can pick up your order the same day and STAPLES is even way more CHEAPER. Lastly, i would like to say to George specifically that if he reads this review, i pray that you get a much better idea on how to respectfully treat your future customers but i will certainly not be one of them. read more

I was charged $1 per page to print 28 pages. In a crunch I had allow myself to be extorted. The average price to print in black and white, which is what I did, is .05 to .08 cents per page. The markup is absurd and I would rather go and but a printer than utilize this business again. Forget about recommending it to another human. read more

Every where my husband & I went to have our pictures developed and printed was not offering the service because of the Corona virus . We google and found Albans printing. My mother recently passed away (April 26) and I was in NYC to help my brother with her arrangements. We were referred to St. Albans by J. Foster Philips Funeral home. I went there on the Thursday before the funeral (May 2). The woman at the counter (I believe her name was Marie) was very helpful and thorough. They were short staffed because one of their staff had a death in their family as well. The staff at St. Albans handled everything, and handled it quickly and very professionally. After the initial round of corrections, the funeral programs were printed while we waited. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because we had to do our own folding. Luckily there were enough folks around that made the folding by hand short work. Thanks St. Albans Printing for the great work in such a short turnaround time. Highly recommended. read more

My family and I were having a memorial for my uncle and decided to get book markers printed up, instead of programs. I called, inquired about the price and time it would take to have these items delivered. I was told it would take 2 days, which was fine with us, surprisingly they were available for pick up the next day. We pride ourselves on great customer service and they DID NOT disappoint. From the time we spoke on the phone, up until my aunt and I walked into his establishment, we were completely satisfied. Professionalism at its finest. He even made extra book markers for us, which we thought was very nice. Products and quality of work was great. Please don't waste your time going here !!!! I repeat do not go to St. Albans printing . The guy is there by himself and is overwhelmed with the little work he gets . If you want to do normal revisions to the work you want done he will blame you and then either not finish the work or take anymore work. I recently had a typo on the cards and not only will he charge same price to reprint but also does not keep his word as to when it will be finished . If you express concern he will then not do it at all!!! read more

The worst experience I ever had in priting is from this printers. They promised one week for getting my job done. So I arranged my ticket kick off according to that. The promised day morning i got an email (not even a call) saying that their preforation machine is not working and so they cannot finish the job and recomended to get it printed some where else. Also he mention that he got some thing to be finished on the next day , so he is busy so he dont have the time to get it done any time sooner. I never deal with such an irresponsible facility. Any way I belive every thing happens for a reason. I got every thing printed by copy4less within 14 hrs and for half the price . All together I saved $400 and got a great jobe done. ( this difference i make is without a negociation because i was in a hurry). So before you make a decession think about it. Just because of copy4less am able to keep my head up before the Schools PTA. read more
