We requested the whole yard to be graded. Then the nightmare started. The contract was sign October 3rd, the work was "finished" October 28. The yard wasn't graded, dirt was not added. The grass was just dumped in to cover the are, I can still see the gaps the puces of sod. The grass was 2 very distinctively different colors. When we mentioned it to the owner, we were told that it was due to lack of oxygenation when the sod was on top of each other, no attempt to fix it. Then eventhough we told the company how many pallets we needed, the owner chose to get less and that's what was paid under contract. She ran out and left a checkerd pattern with the last pieces. The owner didn't supervised work, so we have to contact her and send her pictures. She brings more sod and lays it. The last sod area to fill, we were charged $250 to get it because she said we didn't tell her the right amount to get. When brought in, iT was completely dead. We contacted owner, yet again, then the excuses came: my crew is not working like we expected, the sod place was close and workers went home, we need a roller and is in useand plenty of other excuses.Rhe owner offered to return the $250, for the dead sod, which she never did. I wish I could give this landscaper a 0. This has been, by far the worse landscaper I have ever hired. my backyard looks horrible, has different levels and I deeply regret hiring this company. I should've known when she insisted in signing a contract right away.
