The work was done to our specifications. Everything was cleaned up and hauled off. I found the owner, Harvey, to be quite professional and personable. These guys were awesome! Showed up on time. Called before coming over. My yard was a disaster and…read morethey came over and got it whipped into shape in under an hour. We're talking edged the sidewalks, mowed, got the grass out of cracks in the driveway, and blew the clippings off the walk ways and the driveway. I'm not exaggerating when I say the grass in my backyard was a foot tall at least. They left no big clumps which is probably the most impressive thing I've seen. I'm not sure how it's even possible that my yard which was neglected all summer could look this good in less than an hour! The price was way lower than I thought it was going to be as well. So low in fact i gave them enough to buy their lunch! They were also super nice and polite. I can't say enough about how pleased I am to have had these guys over to do my lawn. Definitely found the business that'll be taking care of it from now on. Thanks Tarheel!

As you might suspect from a small start up landscaping business they are not licensed with NC landscaping board and that's ok for what they provide. Where I find people should be warned is anything bigger than mowing your grass and you will meet all the unprofessionalism, care for the customer and commonsense. You will more than likely get a product equal to or less superior than what you could have done your self but you will get asked to pay a premium price afterwards far exceeding the estimate. This is to pay for all of the lack of ordering materials and actually knowing what he's doing!

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Meier & Sons Tree Service!! 5 stars hands down!…read more We have contacted a few different tree removal services in the past and their quotes were overwhelmingly expensive! Meier & Sons were the most affordable in the area by far! We contacted Meier & Sons regarding the removal of a pine tree that was too close to our home. After communicating our concerns, Logan (owner) was able to schedule us within a week! Logan and his team were nothing short of incredible, hardworking and professional! There was clear and concise communication throughout the entire process! Additionally, they provided high quality work as well as work ethic and completed the job in a timely manner! They arrived at 9am and the entire tree was chopped down by 10:30am, full clean up (including stump grinding) was completed the SAME DAY by 11am! Lastly and most importantly in my opinion, Logan and his team of professionals were extremely courteous and humble! Due to that aspect alone, we would 100% work with this company again and definitely recommend him to every single person we know and/or anyone who is looking for a tree service company! Contact Meier & Sons IMMEDIATELY for tree services!!!

I am uncertain of what exactly transpired from the first time of contracting this company…read more Initially, they provided great services for lawn care and I contracted with his son to cut a large tree in which I ended up having to haul the tree myself to the dump myself, which was a lot considering that I paid him $300. I am beginning to wonder if the differences came in over not contracting them for a roof job that they quoted $10,000 when other roofers (that strictly do roofs) came in at least $3,000 less. He even said that he understood being that he was priced the highest. I am all about businesses making money, but I did not think that caused any contention as I was honest and upfront with him about cost being the determining factor over who would get the roofing job. Thereafter, I booked him on 3/11/2020 via yelp for an appointment. He never showed up or never called and never texted to say that he was not available. That was unprofessional and a simple text to say "no thank you, I'm not available or I choose not to do anymore business with you" would have made it clear.
