One of the best parts was their no money down, 0% financing option, which made the decision even easier for us. From the beginning, the process was smooth. Morgan was incredibly pleasant and helpful over the phone, making it easy to set up our appointment. They were even able to come out the very next day and provided us with a proposal on the spot! The crew did stay a little later into the evening than expected, but it was only because they were so committed to getting the job done right and on time. They wanted to make sure the epoxy had time to start drying properly so we could use our garage within 48 hours, which we really appreciated. When we arrived at their showroom in Sarasota they were knowledgeable, friendly, and had a vast selection to choose from. Very competitive pricing too. The installers were gracious and very respectful during the entire 4 weeks they were in our home. The floors look beautiful. May I recommend that you think twice however, living in your home if you decide to tile the entire home. There is no way around it being disruptive. Better Project Planning on their part for the size of the job and the order of which rooms to tile and lay baseboard would have earned them a 5 star. We are very happy with Fairfax Floors.

Once we picked the flooring we liked he even drove the baseboards out to me so I could sand and paint them prior to install. You don't get that kind of service anywhere else. Conor was in touch with me all day to ensure I was happy with their progress. They even worked hard to get them to install on a weekend since I work min-fri i healthcare and there is no flexibility with my schedule. Now here is where I want to brag the most Their installers- WOW- We want to give a big shoutout to Fransisco, Franklin and a third third gentleman I forgot his name. Their product is great we went with the aqua shield Barnwood luxury vinyl plank but it's about the installers who do the real work. These guys had such attention to detail, they removed the current trim on my cabinets laid the floor down and then put the trim back up. They even removed our toilets so the flooring was seamless. I cannot recommend this company any more than I am right now. We will be using them in the future to do our stairs and laundry room and I will be requesting those three gentlemen again. You can tell they work together very well I could hear them all day laughing and talking. It takes a lot to impress me and I did not have one time where I felt that they were doing below average work. These three gentlemen did above average and I am the attention to detail person and they impressed me. Conor and Steve at fairfax make sure to recognize your three installers as they upheld your product and came through!

They not only not did not complete the job, but left with our deposit! They were hired for a bathroom tile and shower install. We are including images issues/mistakes made by tile company during installation: IMG_0093: Shows that they neither centered the tile install with the room or the center wall focal point. If you zoom to the half wall you will see red marks C1 for center of focal point wall and C2 for center of the room (wall to wall) . They did not use either of these center points which is basic rule 101 for tiling. IMG_1001: This shows where installers started using a full piece against this left side of room wall. Again, another mistake. IMG_0994 & IMG_0995: Because installers didn't start approximately 2 inches towards door opening they ended up with these 2" pieces at the bathroom entry. Defeating purpose of using large format tiles. This is tiling 101 on measuring out room before laying tile. IMG_0996 & IMG_0998: Here are 2 examples of joints being more than 1/8" wide. These were supposed to be no more than 1/32 to 1/16" joints. This was a mistake by the installer which defeats the purpose of the large format rectified tiles which allows installation of minimal 1/32" joints for a seamless look. IMG_0999: Here you can see that the grout is recessed from wiping too much of the grout out of the joint during installation. This creates a deep pocket which allows for sharp edges, chipping, and uncomfortable to walk on. IMG_1002: This is on left side where main large format tile will meet smaller mosaic shower floor tiles. It is crooked, which will cause a very difficult fix since it is already cemented down. Additional issues: Installers did not speak English. Had to have my wife translate, but they spoke very broken Spanish as well, which led to increasing the communication gap. Matt Schott, the owner, never came out after receiving our initial check. He was asked to come out and take a look while the job was being done and he refused. He also refused to complete the job while keeping our deposit.
