The tardiness of the pandit was very disappointing as the schedule for the event was planned meticulously with the mandir. Pandit's tardiness not only inconvenienced the guests, created a lot of stress, and disrupted the wedding schedule. For anyone planning to use the services of Shri Ram Mandir with a schedule, I would advise future patrons of the mandir to plan for a backup to avoid the miserable experience we had to go thru.

Its very intimidating to explore other cultures because you know nothing about it. The fear that you will dress inappropriately, overstep boundaries, say the wrong thing or disrespect something very sacred keeps you from going. I have to admit, our anxiety was over the top but we sincerely wanted to learn, so we pushed through the anxiety and went to this event. The temple itself is a beautiful masterpiece no matter what part you visit. The energy is positive, healthy and peaceful. From the moment we walked up, they were welcoming and kind to us, and for that reason that made this an amazing experience!! Many different people throughout the evening was happy to tell us where to go, what was going on, how to participate, what was appropriate and respectful. We learned the meaning behind the Navratri celebration, as well as the deities in the shrine, the rituals, food, traditional dresses, and cultural dances. One volunteer stayed with us the whole time, beaming with pride, so excited to share her culture with us. We are very grateful for her time. The opportunity to be invited in and encouraged to return was humbling. We plan to go back and enjoy more events.

The very first day I went to check them out, one of the lady who is working said she doesn't know the price of the item exactly and charged me a sum which was higher and said she would pass me the money next time. I never went back for the money nor the lady ever called me. They are nice as in customer service but business wise they are crooks doing everything unethical!!! I went to pick up Pathri and Ganesh figure for Ganesh chaturdhi and after reaching home and opened the packet everything was rotten, it has mold in them and all the waste leaves they could find on streets they packed and sold for $7!!! Unbelievable!!! They do not have any ethics or morals & unethical business practice over people's sentiments on festivals & God!!!! Pathri pack Is comprised of various leaves! I agree they are hard to find in this side of the world. But the basic leaves such as tulasi leaves, grika (grass), mango leaves, bel leaf etc are replaced with God knows what!!!! They threw in everything they could find on the streets and trails and sold them!!! I bought mango stems at $2 per stem!!!! As per Pathri ,I had to throw it away!!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!
