Terrible service all of a sudden stopped picking up my weekly garbage called they said I wasn't paying but I haven't received anything in the mail saying I was behind on payments I've been with them for years and they messed up my autopay I missed two $20 payments and now they won't pickup my trash. Lady on the phone was very rude and unhelpful. Over the years I've had nothing but problems with they're bilingual system it's ancient and doesn't work well. read more

We've always had good service from SRC and this time was no exception. I needed a new dumpster since we've had ours over 30 years and the bottom was almost broken through. I called and within two days a new one had been delivered. Thanks for all the good years! read more

Would not recommend this company, I have had terrible service. The ladies in the office are very nice. On multiple occasions I have come home from work and found that my trash was picked through and not everything was picked up without any reason for it not have been. I've also had problems recycling drain oil. I've followed their rules for trash and recycling. Re drain oil, one time it took over 2 months before it was picked up and the last time took me a month and a half until finally they picked it up. Both times I called the company and ask them to make sure it was picked up the following recycling snd they said that they would put me on the list to pick up. They explained that sometimes their truck is full and cannot pick up drain oil however month-and-a-half and two months is a little excessive especially when you've been put on the list to make sure it's picked up. Not sure if we have some disgruntled trash/recycling drivers or what the deal is. Far as I'm concerned if I pay my bill and follow their rules they should be picking up my trash and recycling. Seems to me that we have a breach-of-contract here. read more

Called for the 4th and last time to try and get over charges handled. I was charged an overflow charge for my lid being a couple inches open, after calling them time and time again about my garbage can not being emptied completely. I was told by Vikki to just put it in for the next week at no extra charge. They charged me anyway, and after calling they would not take the charge off my bill and Vikki was a completely rude person about it. Praising the truck driver saying he would never do that. I asked if I needed to film the pick up and she got extremely rude over it. Anyway canceled service while on the phone and will never recommend them to anyone. Complete lack of business sense. Do not care about customer issues. read more

I had given a poor review in the past due to some customer service complaints however they have worked with me and it has improved greatly.

Starting to have increasingly more issues with them. From missed pick ups to a warning letter due to "too much organic waste" to now they just put the stuff back in the can they don't want to take. I can understand when you cram a can completely full of grass clippings or a whole tree.... And when I called to say our trash was curbside at 4:30 in the morning and I had video evidence on multiple cameras (ring and 2 exterior garage cams) customer service still insisted that we didn't have our can out and the driver reported it as our error....ummmmm recorded video on CAMERAS! Today there were broken prices of plastic hose reel no bigger a shoe box That were placed back in the can. The can was not over full by any means and everything was contained inside. There was absolutely no reason anything should've been placed back in our garbage can. It wasn't toxic waste or chemical or batteries. What am I missing here? The only thing they are encouraging is for people to pack things in plastic bags which will inhibit any chance of breakdown or compost. GREAT JOB SRC! read more

So if you think you can bring your stuff to a small town waste and recycle center for reasonable cost...think again. Arbitrary cost structure with outrageous pricing. I paid less in downtown St. Paul. I am now looking for a new location. read more

Reading the reviews from many others I see I am not the only person who was treated rudely by the staff at SRC. I recently paid for 3 months of service up front so I was surprised that my trash had not been picked up one week. I usually bring the can down after dropping my kids off In the morning so that they aren't in the way of my neighbors getting their camper in and out and so that critters don't get into it (I keep it bungeed shut until I bring it down). So when they hadn't picked it up my first thought was they must have come earlier than usual and I missed them. I have security cameras so I played them back and saw the truck never came. When I contacted them she first told me that they come early like 6am and I didn't have it out early enough. I told her no they usually do not come early and regardless I played my security footage back to before 5 am, they never came. She then said there are other people on my block. I'm assuming she was trying to say no one else had theirs missed. However, there is no one else on my block that uses that service or even has trash pickup the same day. She then put me on hold and returned to tell me the driver had made a note that since I had not taken my trash down several times they would no longer be coming out unless I call beforehand to let them know I brought it down. Even though I think that's ridiculous because they get paid the same either way I said fine and asked if they would be sending someone to pick the trash up for this week and she told me no. She said they would come the following week as long as my cans were out by 6am. She refused to let me talk and continued to talk over me. Just repeating as long as my van is out by 6am they will come next week. I admit I was livid. I did yell at her which wasn't right but at the same time she wouldn't even let me speak and I could not believe how rude she was. She hung up on me so I called back and asked to speak to a manager and the manager refused to talk to me. I have been emailing them to get a refund and at first they didn't even respond to me. It's been a few weeks and now whoever is responding to the emails said that they came every week and my garbage wasn't out on time. That's a lie. I said I don't think I should have to pay for the week they refused to come out and she responded by calling me abusive and saying that I must be a very unhappy person and some other condescending comments. I can't even believe this lady has a job treating people the way she has treated me! In a previous email I had let her know that my son and I are sick and we should never have our garbage company be adding to our stresses and her response was condescending then as well. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any company In my almost 20 years of adulthood. I am not talking about just garbage companies, I'm talking about any company that has ever provided any service that I've paid for. There are many options for trash removal. I switched to a different company and my service is now cheaper and the customer service was way better. Unless this is your only option, go elsewhere! read more

SRC is a local waste and recycle hauler. They pickup my trash and recycling, have a convenient drop site and always answer my calls! We use them for rolloffs too! read more

zero stars. their payment takes 2 weeks to process even if they already taken the money out of your bank account. They will not apologize or own up to their nasty payment system. their customer service is of hell. they don't care about their mistakes and will act high and mighty. go somewhere else. when i set up my account, i asked what my total would be with all fees included. they said $36.11. i got my bill and it was almost $90. when i called to get it fixed, they said that's impossible. they are a dishonorable company. take your money elsewhere. read more
