From what I understand viewers get to vote on content and so the content that has more votes gets moved to a different station. Videos get posted to Channel 56 first, based on the creator's chosen theme block. Then, depending on the number of votes received, competition within theme block, and freshness it will be scheduled on Channel 57. DOM also hosts first Fridays at their space with live music most of the time. It's a cool place to check out. And if you are an aspiring movie maker, actor or anyone else in the field you should consider posting your stuff with them.

I'm not too aware we have a store like this in The Bay…read more It could very well be World of Stereo but I haven't been since I heard it closed down/changed its name(?) At any rate, it was a nice surprise to see a business in town that was in niche with my music interests. They still carry vinyl, portables and even 3" turntables that have grown in popularity the last few years. When you walk in they even have a roundtable of rigs that they twitchstream and would assume teach classes on. Again a really cool traveller surprise if you ever grew up on DJing/turntablism outside the Mile High scene.

I would not recommend bringing DJ equipment here for repair…read more I brought my Pioneer DJ Opus Quad in because both of the top USB ports stopped working. Before bringing it in, I had found multiple Pioneer DJ forum posts describing what appeared to be the same issue, and the repair seemed fairly straightforward. I emailed with Ian for about a week, explained the issue, and shared the forum posts I found. He told me he was confident he could fix it and just needed to open the unit to confirm which parts needed to be ordered. After I dropped it off, they had the unit for 4 full weeks before the issue was even confirmed. At that point, Ian confirmed it was the same issue described in the forums and told me I could pick it up while we waited for parts. I happened to be out of town that week, so I left it there in case the parts came in while I was gone. Two more weeks went by with no update. I emailed asking if there was any status on the parts because I didn't want to pick it up if they were going to arrive soon. I received no response, so after two days I went in and picked it up. When I got the unit home, I immediately noticed something rattling around inside. I also found a bag of screws inside the case, so it clearly had not been fully reassembled. The entire top of the unit was loose. When I carefully lifted it to see what was rattling, I found that all the plastic screw posts along the bottom of the unit had been broken off of the top plate. One of the broken pieces was loose inside the unit, and the others still had screws in them. So after having my deck for 7 weeks, with very little communication, I got it back in worse physical condition than when I dropped it off. Even if the USB ports are eventually repaired, the top plate can no longer be properly secured without replacing the damaged plastic top plate. At this point, I do not trust them to work on the unit again. If they could not open it without breaking it, I have no confidence they can repair the original problem or the damage that occurred while it was in their possession. This was a 1-star experience. I brought my deck in for repair, waited 7 weeks, received almost no communication, and got it back damaged.

(No Address LIsted on Website or Steve's Business Card only Telephone Listed as 508 450-0490.) I assisted my friend and client in picking our a 55" Flat Screen television and a wall mount at Whitco Sales, Incorporated on 140 Main Street in Spencer, Massachusetts, because my family, friends and I have been loyal and satisfied customers of Whitco for many years.The owner provided my client with a business card for Steve at J & S Audio Video Solutions. When my client informed me that Steve quoted $450.00 for the delivery and installation to his home in Cambridge, I called to find out why the company was charging $150.00 too much for a simply installation. Steve told me that the overcharge was to pay for the gas to Cambridge and that the expertise of J & S Solutions was worth the quoted price. I informed Steve that my master electrician only charges $125.00 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour after the first hour, and I wanted to know whether he is a licensed electrician. Steve stated that he is not a licensed technician, but his partner is a "general contractor." I then pressed how he and his partner could justify such a high cost and why a customer would need to pay for their gas to deliver a service. I expressed to Steve that I believe that J & S Audio Visual Solutions exploits consumers who are unaware of a reasonable charge for an installation by unlicensed laborers, and that in this case the consumer is a disabled senior citizen which is objectionable on so many more levels. I informed Steve that I would be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office for unethical and unfair business practices, specifically price-gouging and exploiting a disabled senior citizen. It is my objective to have price-gouging addressed as an unfair and unethical business practice by the Office for Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation to ensure that the practice is addressed and discontinued immediately.
