A single pancake "side" was the size of a tire.

It should be called Squeeze Out. That is what you have to do after eating there...Squeeze Out the door because you have added another inch to your circumference ("waist" for all the people who have failed math in the last 20 years). Caution: the sizes of the meals are MEGA. My pics tell the story of Green Salsa Chilaquiles, which had as it's "SIDE" a pancake. I fell into a food coma upon returning home.

"squeezed" us in in a busy weekend morning. Busy restaurant but staff is friendly and attentive. The Racy Tracy which was good. Plenty of hash browns as a side along with sourdough toast. Breakfast burrito was the better of the two. Bacon was the selected protein and it was delish. Would eat here again.

The most confusing menu I've ever seen.

Overwhelming menu. BUT they have dedicated gluten free fryer and can adjust ALL their menu item to allergies and sensitivities. Just choose the item you want and they will offer you all the options they can do it allergy free. Use your waiter's knowledge! Cute place very quirky ambiance. My hubby thinks it's cool. Good service once they get to you. They get busy over the weekend like most breakfast places. Call if they have a waitlist before you head out and add your name to it. If after 10am there is usually no need for that. Good healthy breakfast. Doesn't taste like a cardboard. Give it a try!

Our Sunday brunch adventures led us to Squeeze In today. It's quite visually chaotic when you first walk in but for some reason it flows. From the bright walls to all the different pieces of decor, Squeeze In is a different kind of vibe. Its a smaller venue so it gets packed pretty fast. When we arrived, they were busy. Ben approached us first and quickly cleaned a table for our party. Ben was great! We had a good conversation about football. Sean was our server today. He did an excellent job! It was actually so refreshing to have nice service. From start to end, it was perfect! For brunch today I ordered the Popeye omelet. It was loaded with spinach and mushrooms! The potatoes were yummy! I topped it with country gravy, so good! My husband ordered the Chad burger with a fried egg. Can I tell you this is the biggest burger patty I have ever seen! It was so big and excellently prepared! The fried egg on top was extra runny, a great addition to the burger. These parmesan garlic fries were killer!! They didn't lack the parmesan or garlic. Our meals were filling and delicious! I'm looking forward to going back and trying out other things in the menu. If you're looking for a unique joint to hit up for a brunch date or just a good meal, Squeeze in is the joint to hit up!

Eagle strip mall location between workout biz & dry cleaner - downside lousy parking lot

"We want everyone to feel like they're at home. No matter what. Absolutely everyone is welcome to enjoy a fresh meal with high-quality ingredients." Nate Bartosz, co-owner of this franchised location of California headquartered, small chain Squeeze In (11 locations), said that to local media when this Squeeze In opened in mid 2020. As locals who live less than 2 miles from the eatery and dragged our feet before going in here for the first time in mid 2023 because we were certain it would not be our thing, we say boy-howdy, Nate, mission accomplished! We look forward to a return visit. WELCOME NEEDS NO WORDS: From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel welcome by the sparkling clean, funky decor theme, bright interior with ample room between tables and to move around to get to the tables. Other eateries could learn from this for the "ahh...this feels good" message it sends to customers vs the sardine can set up of some. SPLENDID SERVICE: Immediate greeting from Hailey ( I sure hope I have her name right as she did a super job) who invited us to sit at any table of our choice, asked if we'd like coffee or other beverage as she handed us the massive menu (about 6 oversized, brightly colored laminated pages), answered all of our questions, was gracious about us sharing an order (we'll get to the giant portion sizes) and extra plate was delivered with the food, checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed and kept coffee cups filled. We noticed she did the same for all the other customers in the eatery (there were few enough that we could notice all and we'll get to the issue of timing your visit). She could teach a table service master class. (She could not possibly have known when we sat down that we are 25% as standard service tippers and when we order to share we calculate the tip as if we ordered two so server isn't at disadvantage by our smaller appetites. She earned 30% for splendid service.) MANAGEMENT KUDOS: Having worked dining FOH a zillion years ago I know welcoming hospitality, facility and service, doesn't happen by accident so kudos to management here for paying attention. FOOD BETTER THAN EXPECTED: Part of the schtick for Squeeze In brand is huge portions. In general, my husband and I avoid anything where that is theme because we are passionate about the topic of reducing food waste (chew on this fact - about 40% of all food in the US is wasted). Consumers vote their priorities with their feet and wallets and so we avoid supporting eateries where portion sizes are so huge that people can't possibly consume them and so encourage waste. We knew about the three egg benedicts here and the four egg omlettes and massive pancakes to make us think this was not for us. Plus it is often so that huge quantity and poor quality go hand in hand for food (I'm talkin' to you Biscuits & Hogs). But we were surprised here as the four egg special Mexican themed scramble we ordered to share was really tasty and served piping hot. Ditto the hot hash browns as side with perfectly prepared crispy exterior - although a little 'off' in the taste of the oil used for them and I'll try them again to see if it was "me" or "them" in that disconnect. A happy PS for Gluten Free Diners - there are lots of options here. GOOD PRICING: Breakfast mains are in price range of roughly $12 - $16 and come with choice of side. In our experience, one of the better price for food breakfast places around. There is a la carte selection on last page of menu but priced in a way to have main order be more attractive as the good value. TIMING MATTERS: The join it jumpin' during all hours on weekends. If you don't like crowds and waits, choose weekdays at the sweet spot between end of breakfast rush (about 10:15) and lunch crowd in place (about 11:30). ACCESSIBILITY: Eatery is all on one floor, ample path of travel to tables, tables are standard height and several look as if ADA compliant for wheelchair floor clearance. There is ADA marked parking in lot but it is not compliant for amount or location or curb ramps. PARKING SUCKS: Too many businesses compete for too little parking in this poorly maintained strip mall lot and "good luck with that" for parking during peak hours.

Super cute little hole in the wall. Food was delicious and well priced. We had all this food for under $50 and service was outstanding. A must try: Foo's French toast breakfast and get those French toast like a Queen would. You won't regret it. 20/10 for sure!

Bomb bacon Benny with sliced tomatoes and full biscuits & gravy
    Susan P.

Oh man! New favorite breakfast spot! I had the bomb bacon Benny and my husband had the full biscuits & gravy. For the Benny: The hollandaise sauce was super light with a nice hint of citrus. 3 eggs that burst easily when poked and oozed perfectly! The bacon crumbles and mushrooms were a nice complement and elevated the whole Benny! My husband ate his entire meal, hardly speaking. So I'll give that one a thumbs up as well! The place is small, get there early. They had a full staff and we were helped efficiently by several friendly employees. Love all the drawings on the walls, that kept us busy while waiting for our food.

Kristy introduced me to one of her favorite places when she lived in Sparks, Nevada, and explained the name because the original location in Truckee is so small you have to squeeze in. We've come here two Saturdays in a row. The food is fantastic and the service is stellar. We like Roo's Pancake Breakfast, two plate-sized pancakes done Jack Johnson-style, with walnuts baked into the pancakes, bananas on top and drenched in honey butter. Includes meat, including bacon, ham and even chorizo or carne asada, plus eggs. We learned the hard way that's a massive meal. When we came in today we split one order and we were still full. Pro tip: Call when you're 10 minutes away and they'll add you to the wait list. They text you with updates about what place in line you are and then notify you when they're ready. Saves checking in when you get there.

I ate there for the first time a couple Sundays ago and it was a really good experience. Walking in really feels like another world because it is so wabi-sabi, and it just works! The vibe inside is super fresh & fun, not something you see normally. It really is very picturesque in its own hip, cool way I love it! The interior is decorated so well and so cozy at the same time. The servers were super friendly, welcoming, and as accommodating as can be for such a popular spot. When I say popular, I mean it~ there was a lot of people coming in and out consistently. I ordered the Racy Tracy, and though the potatoes were dry, the omelette itself was yummy~ it was super loaded with so much breakfast goodness and I was really full at the end. I tried my sister's food (Shi's Superfood Scramble) and that was nice & fresh! My auntie's food (Twice Baked Bowl) was actually my favorite ~ I will definitely order that for myself the next time I go Thanks for such a cool experience, y'all! It was worth the drive & I'll be back!

I came in for my birthday meal and was NOT disappointed! I had the Aloha omelet with tomato pesto sauce....yum! What I love: very friendly service, good portion size, fresh and original menu, and the fun atmosphere! The colorful walls make you want to smile and the employees seem to love their jobs!

Wow! This place is awesome. It has a really cool atmosphere about it that says this is what breakfast in California in the 70's is all about!! Super friendly wait staff, all of them just seem to be happy just being there. If you like Omelettes then you have to try this restaurant! I had the Spanish Flay& the Lil woman had the California they were both excellent huge epic and delicious. I will definitely be back here when I am in the area!!!

I have visited Squeeze In several times over the last few months and each and every time I go I am equally as impressed as I was the last visit. The food is always hot, fresh, & prepared just as requested. The customer service is well above and beyond any other breakfast spot that I have visited in the valley. The staff are always friendly & have a stellar attitude. They have several regular customers that come on a daily basis from the senior apartments near the restaurant and they treat them like family. It's really heartwarming to see the staff (who are pretty young) have an interest in people who don't have family around. It shows the heart and character of this restaurant. Yes, sometimes there will be a wait...especially if you are coming on a weekend...but it is absolutely worth it! I can't recommend Squeeze In enough.

It has a very local, community feel that's getting harder to find. The coffee itself is fine -- not terrible, not "drive across town for it" amazing either. I usually just get the unlimited refill cup and drink from one of their mugs while I work for a bit. Where this place really shines is the baked goods and breakfast food. You can smell everything being made from their little kitchen, and it feels genuinely homemade in a way most coffee shops don't anymore. Their molasses cookies are somehow available year-round and I'm not exaggerating when I say if they're sold out, my day takes a turn. The quiche Lorraine is also legitimately excellent with a buttery crust, and they usually have a surprisingly good variety of gluten-free baked goods too. One thing I oddly appreciate: no music and no giant café chaos. Also no plugs, so this isn't the place to camp for 6 hours on a laptop. But if I need a quiet spot to answer emails or get 1-1.5 hours of work done without distraction, this is actually one of my favorite places to go.

For context, I'm 37, so it just felt a bit inconsistent. Unfortunately, the service overall didn't improve from there. Our food took over an hour to arrive, and by that point my 4 year old was starving. I felt terrible, but there wasn't much we could do except wait. The food itself was decent, but there were a few letdowns. My husband ordered a breakfast chimichanga and was told it would be large, but it ended up being a pretty standard burrito size. On top of everything, our server didn't acknowledge or apologize for the long wait, which added to the frustration. Overall, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for, especially for a holiday brunch.

And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.

I've been coming to Crave for a while now, this was probably my tenth plus visit and the food has consistently been really good. That's what keeps us coming back. Unfortunately, this last visit missed the mark. I made a reservation and was seated in the back room next to two private parties, rather than a booth or the main dining area. The room was loud and the spot was uncomfortable. And really, who wants to have dinner with their family wedged into a party room alongside two other parties? What really stung was watching a party who came in after us get seated in the party room and then moved to a different section, but when we asked to move, we were told it'd be a 20-30 minute wait. It's also a little odd to be awkwardly squeezed into a party room in the first place. That space should be for actual parties, not for packing in reservation guests to hit max capacity. Sometimes a short wait for the right table is worth far more than being seated immediately in an uncomfortable spot, I'd have happily waited. Here's the thing: between the data they're already collecting through Resy and a little plain common sense, this should be an easy fix. They can see who's a repeat guest, what reservations are booked, and how the floor is filling up. Use it, or at minimum, just pay attention to the room and seat people thoughtfully. It's not bad enough for one or two stars; the food and overall experience have earned more goodwill than that, and servers are always top notch. But better situational awareness and common send from their host staff would go a long way. A reservation should mean something, and a marketing tip, regulars notice this stuff. A big turn off after a stressful week, I probably won't be back. If looking for a flawless experience after a stressful week, I would find another place with a more competent host staff.
