Always great food at a reasonable price. If for no other reason, the Whistling Pig is a must for their seafood chowder. It's always warm, milky, and filled with yummy mixed seafood. And the bowl is large enough that you can compliment it with a large order of crispy home made fries for the table. It's an excellent northeastern comfort food binge. read more

The good thing was we were sat at a table and was able to order right away. The bad thing was we had to wait a long time just for our drinks to come and even longer for our food. We didn't know why it took so long and the waitress didn't explain. I ordered the fried chicken and it was dry and under seasoned. Not good. The atmosphere was loud and noisy. read more

So happy we stopped in for lunch after a day of kayaking. This bar/restaurant is conveniently located on Commercial street in the center of town. We had the pulled pork sandwiches and they were PERFECT!! The host/owner/waiters were all polite and handling COVID seating + regulations professionally and safely! We'll definitely be back. Solid bar and solid menu. Hubby and I stopped in here for a late lunch on a Monday - the staff was friendly and super helpful. The raw bar is right behind the bar so you can watch them shuck oysters all day. We only had the fries and the chili to eat, but both were delicious. Let me just say - those fries were PERFECTLY cooked. read more

The food here is okay, nothing special and certainly not worth the price. The lobster roll was one of the most expensive ones I paid for on my trip, and simultaneously the most bland. We also ordered an oyster shot that was so disgusting. The oyster was placed inside the shot instead of on a shell, and it came in a huge glass. Taking the shot required us to swallow three gulps of horse radish and an entire oyster at once. One of the worst oyster shots I've ever had. Our waitress was not very friendly to me, but seemed to be extremely friendly to the bridal party next to us. Overall, this place was super disappointing in the food and service department. If you chose to eat here please for the love of god don't order the oyster shot... read more

Super cute restaurant/bar in the heart of Provincetown, MA! We walked by and saw their happy hour sign which advertised 1$ oysters so we sat at the bar and ordered 2 dozen for two people! They were some of the biggest and juiciest oysters ever! It was a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was duper busy but we sat at the bar and got served pretty quickly! Love this place! read more

Went here on prior yelp reviews. Sat upstairs on the outside roof top tables. It was nice outdoors and looking at the marina. Food was ok - had the seafood chowder and pulled pork sandwich/coleslaw. Last night in Ptown. So glad we chose to have dinner. Very small bar that serves really good food. I had the Wellfleet oysters. They were so fresh. Great cocktail sauce, had just the right kick. Also enjoyed the Cape Cod famous fish fry. The shrimp was good, the scallops very very good. It was the Haddock that was the winner. Perfect breading, with out of this world crispiness. Service was great and friendly and the atmosphere was very lively. I had the Shepherd's Pie and my wife had the Caesar Salad With Lobster. We also shared Sweet Potato Wedges. Looking for an actual bar, where you can have a drink or three, it's relaxed, low key? Then this is your place. Nice bar, great people who own and operate it. And it's unique. Great location downtown. If you want fine dining then don't go to a bar. Otherwise, this place is charming and chill and a great place to spend time. read more

Tried the Pig for the first time last night. I wanted to give this place a good rating but during our time there, we got ripped off... literally! We sat at the bar and the stool next to me (last stool next to the waiter station) was empty, so I placed my bags (recent purchases from Black Dog and Cabot's candy) down on it. My husband was to my left, so obviously my attention was directed toward him. After we finished our food and drink and about to head-out, I look to gather my stuff and....POOF! GONE!! My two bags (that were literally right next to me) were no where to be found! I don't know who would've done such a thing and I didn't notice any patrons approach the bar next to me - only the waiter coming and going at the bar/waiter station. When we told the bartender and asked if they had cameras he said no and pretended to look around for us and then told me to leave my number in case they appear. Weird. I'm not pointing fingers but the whole thing was so strange and all I know is I left without my purchases - some of which were Christmas gifts! So if you decide to try the Pig, keep a close eye on your belongings while you're there! read more

Great bar and delicious food. You can go with a light meal or go heavy. Intimate and casual. Recommend parking a few blocks away and walk because parking is impossible on commercial Ave. The pulled pork sandwich is top notch along with their burgers. If you are into oysters, they have them too. Great value on drinks as well. read more

We've walked by the Squealing Pig many times, and then walked on to other places. But tonight we decided to walk in, just sit at the bar and check them out. Dimly lit interior makes a for a seedy atmosphere. But don't let that scare you. This bar is serving beer, cocktails and bar food. Bar seating or tables, tight but manageable. Our bar server took a while to initially greet us, but after that he kept up. Beer menu includes several drafts, and then even more bottles or cans. We kept it simple and ordered fish & chips and seafood platter (fish, scallops, shrimp). Both were pretty good, in fact the fried fish was excellent. Fries were hot and tasty, but the side slaw was just ok. I had 3 different beers, and ended up liking the Rogue Dead guy ale the most. The lights flickered every 15 min or so, but the place stayed packed. Good beer, good fried fish, a good place to enjoy. read more

Fun place to hang out with friends. Great for groups - really good pub menu. Oysters are decent and I really like the fries. I tried a salmon burger and it was quite good - served with a nice heaping of avocado. Decided to try the wings, too...they were also very tasty! Good drink selection and friendly staff. Gets really busy and sometimes there's a wait. My only issue was that the server disappeared when we needed the check - but he was pretty slammed/"in the weeds". It wasn't intentional. Yes - it's a bar. Yes - it gets loud. And - yes! They have TV's....so it gets extra noisy when something interesting happens during one of the games on one of those TV's.... Enjoy. read more

I like my bread pudding to be moist and creamy, not a firm block of bread. So the food was not as good as I hoped and my visiting buddy had a spaghetti marinara, and he was disappointed with it too.

I also ordered a side of fries which was overkill. And no one had any room for dessert. Our server was attentive and efficient. The check came to $232 not including the service charge. It is over the four stars that I gave and just under a five star rating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives or visits the area.

Overall It's a shame that I won't be here for too much longer and I'll have to wait for my next trip to Cape Cod in order to come back to Ross's Grill. When I come back I'll be sure to order the Cape Cod Seafood Stew because that's pretty good too.

My family visited recently and had a wonderful meal, my husband and sons had seafood....the lobster…read morerolls were well filled and they said the seafood linguini was amazing. but I wanted to give a review that goes past the amazing food, the customer service was top notch. My daughter and I have severe food allergies, and these are not the norm, way past gluten gluten free or having a nut allergy, I'm talking about wheat, corn, dairy, pork, seafood, nuts, mushroom, egg, etc avocado, etc. the staff went above and beyond to make sure there was no cross contamination, that what we ordered was free of our allergens , and even checked with the owner or the restaurant via a phone call. huge shoutout to the Lobster Pot, we will be back!
