Wish I could give zero stars. My experience: Called as soon as a house was listed (Spurling was listing agent) in MLS, the receptionist said that I'd have to call back at 11:00 am, because unless it's rental property she doesn't handle it...I'm like what?? Nevertheless I call another realtor in another company. He tries to schedule an appointment to see it, then he's told the House is already under contract. I'm like okay, that was super fast! The House was listed way below value. Later that day I call Spurling back. This time I go to speak with a realtor. He explains to me that it was sold to an investor they work with before it hit the MLS. And that this investor has bought 50 plus properties from them. So, at Spurling Realty, all the good houses that are reasonably priced are saved for their friendly investor. It's legal for them to do this, but it's a poor business practice. And it does seem shady! I have no use for them. read more
