When I entered, the receptionist was kind and she sat beside me as she walked me through the paperwork I had to complete. When I was finished, she put me in the consultation room. I met Dr. Swanston and we discussed my back and health issues. After, we went into the adjustment room and he assessed my situation. I liked that he explained to me what was the problem and then I had adjustments on my back and neck. I felt much better after I left. I have had several adjustments since but I can feel it's getting better everyday. There is always ample seating even with a few others waiting. The afternoon receptionist, I think her name is Shauna, often has a smile on her friend and is friendly. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for the doctor too. Free parking, and great that it's right beside H&W too!

Deborah, the massage therapist provides therapeutic massage to ease your muscles. She will explain how your muscles work and provide stretches to do at home. Best in Canada.... (drum roll).... Dr. Craig WING…read more I have travelled all over Canada, visiting many chiropractors along the way. Some without much results. So going in I had my doubts but he came highly recommended. The chance taken paid off in boat loads. This is not your typical Chiropractic experience. The treatments are personal, focused and highly effective. Dr. Craig WING is the best: it's not the typical 10 minute-in-adjustment-out experience. He gets to know exactly what your body needs and provides treatment accordingly. There is a vast assortment of equipment to provide for ones' specific treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Craif WING And Dr. Brandan Cretien. Dr. Craig Wing is so friendly, professional, and extremely helpful to adults and children. He listens to your issues and comes up with the best plan of attack. He is also extremely observant and can pick up on things before you even mention them, or didn't even realize they werethe main concern. He's amazing. Despite how busy the office is, you won't have to sit around and wait, Dr. Craig Wing keeps things organized and runs a very smooth office. Dr. Craig Wing finds the source of the problem to help restore the body to its optimal performance. It's not a set appointment per month, depends on the body, the demand it has and how it's managing. And lastly, it is so reasonably priced that it allows one to restore their health in a budget friendly way. 10/10

Can you imagine what an exorcism feels like?…read more I dunno but it must be similar to the feeling you get when the aches, pains, and stiffness have been liberated from your body by Dr. Thor Gilbertson after an adjustment. I would call him The Mighty Thor even if Marvel hadn't already published a comic book of the same name. My wife was seeing The Mighty One for dry needling (IMS, that is - not needling as in teasing - I think) so I decided to go in for said adjustment as I thought it would be a better use of my time than reading People magazine in the reception area. I'm also a glutton for pain. (Not that a chiropractic adjustment is painful. More on that later.) It's my attraction to pain that forces me to sleep in the trunk of my car on my belly with a spare tire for a blanket. So needless to say, after a few months of this I needed to be un-pretzled. (I never know how bad it truly was until after I see the doc.) Dr. Gilbertson is witty, personable, and likes hockey. He totally places you at ease while he's snapping your neck. And no, it doesn't hurt. His admin person, Natasha, is also totally friendly and charming. She makes me feel a little bad that I'll never truly be that outgoing and captivating. All in all, a visit to Dr. Gilbertson's office could be the feel-good day of anyone's week. For the past few days I've been running backwards into walls just to give myself a legit reason to go back there. He does more than just adjustments and dry needling. He also does active release therapy and something called radial shockwave therapy. I'm not sure what that is but I picture it involving an Electric Chair. I'll look for one next time I'm there. In the meantime, I have walls to bang into and trunks to sleep in.

When I called to make an appointment, I was able to get one within a few days. The office is in Callingwood Market so free parking. Natasha is the woman that answers the phone, greets visitors, processes payments, and everything else. Every time I was there, she was always so pleasant even though she's busy. They also do direct billing with insurance companies. The first time I saw Dr. Gilbertson, he asked me about what was going on and I told him my issue. He used needles on my back and bottom. I'm used to acupuncture needles so I wasn't nervous or concerned of the process. I also read about IMS before the visit. He also said chiropractic treatment would not help me at this point and may even make it worse. I went a few more times and he put the needles in my leg as well and one time I felt it woke up my leg down to my foot! After my last visit, Dr. Gilbertson asked me if I felt better after the treatments and I did but it was temporary and didn't last long. This is where I felt Dr. Gilbertson cares about people first and patients second. He advised me what he thought I should do and told me if I wanted acupuncture in the future to go back. But he did not tell me keep coming back because he wanted my $85/treatment. I felt he genuinely cared about my well being even if that meant not seeing me again. He is a good and busy professional as there's a steady stream of patients coming in and going out. With so many health professionals, only wish we had more like Dr. Gilbertson around.

Despite being on a Sunday morning, Dr. Yee was able to see me as soon as I could get there. A few preliminary questions/forms and an adjustment soon followed. I have followed Dr. Yee to his new location just east of Mayfield Common and he is the only Chiropractor in Edmonton I will consider. I can't thank Dr. Yee and everyone at Chirocare enough for their ongoing care.

It was on a Saturday, and the receptionist gave me clear directions on where to park and how to get to the location. When I arrived, he introduced himself (Constantine!), and gave me three pages for me to fill out regarding my information/history. The chiropractor, Dr. Yee, saw me shortly after my arrival and took a complete history, did a thorough exam, and then tried his best to fix me (apparently my upper spine/ribs are rather difficult to move). He was also personable. The three "As": able, available, and affable. This is what you want in a health care provider! His office also provides sport medicine consults and massage therapy and acupuncture. There's a small amount of free parking to be had; otherwise, arrive early and park across the street at the Meadowlark Mall. More updates as I see the need. EDIT: My second visit was of similar high quality as the first. Plus, I've had very little pain since! Success! THEN, a few days later, I received a follow-up phone call from Constantine to find out how I was doing. I really like their customer service. I'd given them 4.5 stars if I could. The only draw back is both times I was there, my asthma was triggered by a strong smelling ?oil used in the massage therapy room -- it wasn't a bad scent, either, but it makes me cough. However, I'm sure the scent is therapeutic to some people.

Great care & service is given at Performance Health. I'm a long time & faithful patient of Dr…read more Kisic's. As a patient prior to the pandemic, I was very impressed how often she would reach out to update me on any changes. The clinic doesn't require masks anymore but if you're like me and need to air on the side of caution, masks are used. As someone that's tried a lot of different chiropractors in the Edmonton area, I can honestly say if you can handle the drive (to & more importantly afterwards) this clinic is worth it. Both chiropractors are highly regarded by their patients, but I can only speak specifically with the work Dr. Kisic does for my body. I also can't comment on the current RMTs at this clinic (their rooms are upstairs) besides observing that they have a steady flow of clients that seem happy to return to them too. The current frontend person, Suraksha, keeps things going smoothly & thankfully is willing to help patients find a later time (if available) or happily reschedule within the week if their health is impacting them (from making the drive all the way safely for the original booked time or at all that day). This is something small to most people, but such a huge value to those chronically ill like myself. I greatly appreciate not being extremely stressed out when rearranging an appointment on top of a really bad health day that is already stopping me from getting myself physically to the appointment. Dr. Kisic listens to me as a patient, notes my biggest issues & asks great follow up questions to correspond with her treatment. She is especially great at communicating with someone that's having a harder day or week when getting the right words out is difficult. Be it due to heavy brain fog, going through pain flares &/or struggling full migraine issues - she can interpret it all. I'm always amazed with her memory for details. Even with her quick digital file prompts, it is impressive with the extra level she recalls on her own during the treatment when there's no way possible she could see the patient summary. Most importantly, she doesn't make assumptions on what your body should be doing with her treatments & works well with other practitioners in your health circle too. So take the time to speak with her in the clinic. It is well worth it. I also advise you to be open with the condition of your body or injury so you can get the best treatment for your situation. Include what does or doesn't work well from past practitioners &/or other modalities & who you're currently working with for pain management or quick patch ups. As for the clinic itself, access wise is direct from sidewalk (which is a high step up unless you're at the end of the strip mall for lowered sidewalk access). There isn't an automatic door button (honestly I don't thing any of the businesses have it at the strip mall that I've walked by, not even the newly remodelled spa). The door handle at the clinic is a large size, so easier to pull, & the door entry is good size for access. The clinic provides slippers for patients to use while there (make sure you read the labels so you're grabbing from the clean box). Everything from waiting room, washroom to the treatment rooms is kept tidy & clean. The washroom is very spacious & lots of room to change before appointment (I usually change into tank top & shorts unless it's deep winter). There isn't a baby change table in the washroom but if you have your baby with you, there's a large cabinet in the bathroom that would be wide enough to put a changing pad down. There's free parking available along the strip mall where the clinic is located & throughout the larger parking lot amongst the other businesses. This summer an extra parking spot was added between the clinic & dry cleaner entrance areas (it use to be a permanent parking lot divider). This change provided a much needed lowered sidewalk access point in the midst of the length of the strip mall. I don't think this change has anything to do specific with the clinic (as there's many businesses in the strip mall) but the effort to put the lowered sidewalk isn't being fully utilized. As it's yet to be fully marked so no parking occurs in the handicap sidewalk access. Stalls currently allotted for handicap parking are at the end of strip mall (close to the OJs, Subway, Starbucks, etc. area). There are other parking options further into the general parking lot but parking along the strip mall is safer in winter. Especially if you struggle with any mobility or stability issues. Overall, this is a solid place to try out if you're in need of a new chiropractor or if you're struggling to find a chiropractor that really gets how to work with those in chronic pain &/or chronic migraine issues. I think it's a good sign when patients for both practitioners seem to be always happy with their adjustments & ongoing care.
