My son went here for the week in between Christmas and New Years. It was a horrible experience for…read morea number of reasons: 1- Every morning when I dropped him off he screams and grabs me like he doesn't want to be there which made me not want to leave but I work across the street so I figured it would be ok. I thought about taking my lunch break to stop in and observe but didn't and am now kicking myself for not doing it. 2- Every night he came home cranky until we gave him dinner and a drink then he is happy but then he eats nearly twice the dinner he usually does, for example one night he ate 3 hot dogs instead of 1 - 2 and still seemed hungry and also had 2 sippy cups of milk. I've wondered if they fed him enough! 3- He was bit twice but we only received an incident report on the first one and it was by the same kid because I asked them. The girl told me "this kid does it to all of them but we try to control it the best we can, I'm sorry." Uh, if you have a kid biting all the kids consistently wouldn't you get them outta there? 4- The last day (Friday 12/30) when I picked him up I saw one of the workers grab my sons arm and dragged him across the room to wipe his nose and it wasn't in a calm way but more like "I'm sick of being here and you're bugging me" kind of way. She dragged him hard enough where he nearly fell, she picked him by his arm and continued going across the room. When I saw that I let her finish what she was doing (hard but I knew I needed to let it go so that I can see what she is like), I yelled my sons name so they both saw me, I picked up my son and said to the lady "that was too rough, way too rough and if you handle my kid like that again we will have a problem!" She said nothing and walked away like nothing had happened. I cried on the way home because I felt horrible for leaving my sweet little boy at a place that obviously doesn't value children the way they should!! 5- This place is way too expensive for what it's worth! $170 for the week for a horrible experience like that?!! And all of those incidents in just one week?! Ridiculous! If they're going to charge so much then they need to make sure they give quality care by hiring people who have the patience, compassion and understanding that children need to succeed to the next level! The lady that mistreated my son was a short Asian/Chinese looking lady. Black hair, brown eyes and darker olive skin. She obviously doesn't have the patience to be in this kind of work and obviously doesn't enjoy it. She would be better off at a grease palace so at least that way Child and Family Services won't need to look into how she treats her own kids! The owner if of this childcare facility is a nice man and I feel bad that he has to receive such a bad review but he needs to know that his employees are not treating children the way they deserve!

They give great communication and don't get annoyed when I ask how she is doing mid day. It is the perfect balance between a Daycare Center and an in home day care. I love how all the ages interact together, learning from each other. They also do cool things like yoga, gardening, and they even have the Zoo bring in some animals. I can't say enough good things. I don't trust my daughter with anyone but Little Tykes. Honestly, I feel like I am leaving my daughter with family and it feels amazing! I know she is in great hands.

Having had an…read moreamazing pre school in our old town I knew it would be hard to find something that stacked up. I went to 5 or 6 different schools here and researched dozens and was ready to give up when I found little tykes U. After speaking with Corri, who stayed late to meet with us, I knew that this was the special place I was looking to send my son. After talking with Corri about the school and seeing all the work he put into it, I enrolled my sWith the perfect balance of play and structure to learn and get them ready for a head start in K, it's a place my son instantly loved. Corri has been more than accommodating with a transitioning toddler and really puts his heart in to the school. It's truly a place of love, education and fostering a great sense of community around these young people. I'm so happy to have my son attending Little Tykes University!

UPDATE ON MY REVIEW FOR ADDED CONTEXT:…read more I have one relative and one acquaintance that worked for Truks-N-Trykes Golden Gateway. They both saw and experienced what goes on there as employees. Now of course the owner will respond by saying how great and wonderful they are but please take this honest review for what it is. A personal opinion that anyone considering doing business with Truks-N-Trykes Golden Gateway, whether as a customer or an employee, please do your homework and you will see you can do better. NOTE: This review is for the Golden Gateway location only. I have no knowledge or experience with any of the other Truks-N-Trykes locations.

We have been at this daycare for 2 years now. Both of my children go to this daycare. Among other…read morethings here are a few reasons I would not recommend this daycare to ANYONE! 1. They have an ant/bug problem and its in the baby room. Their explanation of this is "well its an old building what do you want us to do about it" (Kristine) 2. This center focuses more on their directors and paying the top then they do the families. You are allowed no vacation days and will be charged regardless of any circumstances. Even when they shut their center down for "cleaning" on Monday and Tuesday but do it on Sunday and then charge you full price for Monday and Tuesday. When i asked about this I was ridiculed, my comments were deleted from their communications page and then they threatened to kick us from the daycare for questioning their procedures. If i am not allowed to ask questions in regards to the procedures and operations when it comes to the Health and Welfare of my children and why I'm being charged for a service, then what type of security do i really have with them. AND 3. They have been very nontransparent with their information regarding COVID-19. Had multiple direct family members have to get tested and they wouldn't tell you this until the end of the day. Then you have to go and ask them if the test results were positive and negative. We left their daycare for a different one in the middle of this COVID pandemic and because we were no longer at their daycare we were not allowed or told of any current pending tests to the parents or children at the daycare. Were told to call the director of the company, when all other parents were notified of the negative test results. This company is garbage. They have deleted their own staff off of their on site app for questioning the operations and how things are being handled. They deleted comments parents post asking questions that they do not like. They are very friendly up front but there are a lot of behind the scenes things that go on that are very very sketchy. You are able to volunteer at this daycare and for every hour you volunteer you get 10 dollars off of your daycare bill. Seems nice... But if you like feeling secure about how your kids are treated i wouldn't recommend doing the volunteer work because you will start to learn things and see things that will leave you very uneasy and worried about the ultimate care of your child.
