Great old style auto parts shop with stuff the bigger chains don't keep as well. Also rent out trailers which is very useful

Adelaide Wheel & Rim Works Werner Tool Company are easy to find on South Road, not at all glamorous…read moreand completely as you'd expect a long standing unselfconscious business that firs wheels to be, a little bit dusty and grimy, but very efficient and completely happy to help you however they can. They have a good broad stock of rims, and they'll dig around if they don't have what you are looking for; they'll fit for you and there will be no mucking about. They also make the rims on site so if you can not find what you are looking for; do you know what that implies? We are talking big and old school... we are talking tractors and farm equipment as much as specialty cars. We are talking the great big old truck that has been going for fifty years and still has another sixty years in it because it doesn't run off of a computer it runs off of an engine. So you may have trouble finding parts like rims these days, but you can get some made. These dudes also make tools, the sort mostly that you would use for mining operations, so don't be asking them to make you a hammer, go buy one at the local hardware; if you are needing to set up some farm or you are about to start mining on your land, these guys will be good to know.

I bought my wheel in tuesday and I was then rung to say it was ready for pick up…read more I explained to the receptionist that I wouldn't be able to get there until 4, she said this was fine as you shut at 430. Anyway I got to your store at 4:05 and you were shut. Your door says opening hours til 4:15. I waited til 5pm before going home just incase someone ducked to the shop or something. A phone call would have been polite, like "how far away are you?" not too hard I shouldnt think, obviously I am wrong though. I came from across town twice tuesday now and then had to come in again Wednesday to pick it up, I had to take the morning off work to make the special trip. I went across the road to see if they had any numbers for you and they said no and told me to try calling over the fence, which I did, and they also mentioned that this incident has occurred many times before with other clients, being locked out before closing time. Maybe opening hours don't matter you you, I don't know. The first time I dropped it off for the repairs I didn't get overly fantastic customer service but I let it go and thought that maybe it was a bad day. I felt bad when you called to say that you thoroughly checked it over to find nothing wrong, as I don't like to waste peoples time and effort, but changed my mind after what happened Tuesday. When I did return Wednesday I also got a lecture on how I mustve mixed up the wheels...how can someone mix up a flat tyre with 3 pumped up tyres? No idea, but I managed to do it. I used alot of petrol, time and patience in all these back and forward trips. Obviously I am not overly happy and won't be recommending you. Thankyou. Ps I will add the man who bought my wheel to my car was very genuine, apologetic and nice.
