The technician told us as he was leaving that he had pneumonia which just had to "run its course". 48 hours later, whatever he had hit my husband and me and we both missed a week of work. We haven't been this sick in years. All things considered, we are not ahead. We would have been better off replacing the appliance that had a bad board than missing two weeks of income. Horrible customer service. I was forced to use them through home depot's warranty repair last year for my refrigerator. They kept changing and canceling my appointment because it was around the holidays but I attempted to be understanding because of the holiday season. It took over 1 month to complete my refrigerator repair. Fast forward to the current month my washer has a leak and the warranty through home depot again is forcing me to use them as a repair service. I chose my appointment for 5/27 a week in advance and nobody contacted me about my appointment however I had an appointment verification from the warranty company. They never showed, I reached out and left a message and they called me an hour and a half after the scheduled appointment stating they didn't have that in their system and they scheduled me for a different day. She also stated she attempted to call me multiple times however my phone log shows she only called 2 times an hour and a half after the scheduled visit. Very unprofessional and very unorganized. I have called home depot and asked for them to be removed as a repair company and asked for a different repair company that actually is organized and knows what they are doing. read more

If i could give this company a zero I would. They were contracted thru my extended warranty company to repair my oven and they have the WORST customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone. They completed the repairs last week and tech left the bad parts here so I stopped him as he was leaving to ask if he needed or if I should throw them away. He told me I would get a label to return them. I have two parts that were shipped from two different companies so I have been trying to get ahold of their office since last Thursday to ask if this is the case as I've never been told to ship back damaged parts and will have no way of knowing which part goes to which company. I left a message on Thursday, Friday and Monday and still no one has returned my call as of 10:50 am on Tuesday. Also, the first tech that came to the house to diagnose the problem - first thing he said to me after opening the oven door is "this is why i tell my customers to never buy a unit with the heating element concealed" - as if he were scolding me as it was in a very condescending tone and also told me parts were on backorder...when I called the office two days later to check she said both parts are available but couldn't tell me if would be shipped to me or her (which wasn't her fault) but said doesn't show on backorder. read more

So my story with Sprint appliance repair starts back in October 2020. I have a seers extended warranty on my refrigerator. The icemaker stopped working. After calling seers service, they had me try several restarts to fix the icemaker myself. This was part of their basic diagnostics to figure out what their technician might need. I made an appointment and a technician was supposed to arrive. Day one the technician never showed up, they called late in the day and rescheduled. This happens I understand. The technician did arrive on the second agreed-upon day and check out my icemaker. Tech determined the unit needed a new complete icemaker. The technician stated he ordered the icemaker but due to Covid it may take a while as they were on back order. Well here we are seven months later and no ice maker nor any information from anyone. So Monday I called and rescheduled. The appointment agreed-upon was today, Wednesday between 8 AM and noon. Well I'm sitting here and not a word from anyone. Here we go again. read more

Frigidair sent Sprint out to repair my oven which was under warranty. That was a month ago. They had come out and said they needed to order a part. A week later I call them three days in a row. No answer. Someone finally calls me back and says it should be fixed by the next Monday. No. Call. Call . Call them everyday. No answer. I call Frigidair who gets in contact with them. They now say they need two parts. Another week. No call no call no call. So after a month I get Frigidair to send out another group, Authorized Service. Like others, if I could give a zero, I would. My nightmare begins with the fact that I foolishly bought a Samsung refrigerator again from Home Depot after having trouble with the ice maker in the first one. I thought with the protection plan, I would be covered and I was then willing to take the risk. It stopped working in year three of the protection plan. No problem, I filed a claim and spoke to Home Depot's warranty protection plan team. The appt was made for Sprint to come out on February 17th with a window of between 12 and 4. No call, no contact, no show. I engaged the Home Depot Protection Plan line again. They advised me then that due to Covid, Sprint was not able to support the appt. So, rather than contacting me, they just let it fall on the ground. The new appt was then scheduled with the Home Depot line for February 22nd with a window of 8-5. Strange. On the day of the appt, I called Home Depot again to make sure someone from Sprint was really coming. They tried to contact Sprint and could not get thru- all calls went to voice mail. It was then that they updated me that the appt was really for a window of between 12 and 4. Another no call, no contact and no show. I again engaged Home Depot and was told that they would try to reach the provider but again could not. They somehow did see notes that the Sprint had tried to contact me, but this is false. If they called me, they did not leave a message nor did they text or e-mail me. I see no missed calls on my phone in their location or with a toll free number. Today the Home Depot protection team re-escalated to another service provider two hours away who will be here in 10 days. Lesson learned all around but Sprint is a horrible horrible choice for Home Depot's warranty support in my area. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! We have been trying to get our fridge repaired for over four months now. The warranty we have is through a Sears plan. I have missed 7 days of work for this issue. There have been no call no shows, cancellations on their end and even had to come out twice to "get part numbers". Say parts were shipped to us. We never received. So they said they would get them. Parts come in damaged but never called us. Parts have to be "made" and are on back order. Came out to "fix" part of the service order for the ice maker. Put in new parts. Never worked! Called back to let them know as well as check on status of parts. No calls were ever returned! Sears refused to send out one of their own technicians since this 3rd party piece of shit company was already assigned. They finally today agreed to take over. We have reported this company to the BBB and surprise surprise- they can't get a reply either! Under no circumstance would I ever use this company! They have even closed out our orders twice and billed as complete! We are furious! My dad worked as a service tech for over 25 plus years. This crap never took place in his time. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My mother has been trying to get her dishwasher fixed for a month. After calling Electrolux we found that Sprint actually lied to her. The parts they claimed were not in, were indeed shipped and received by Sprint. After repeated messages by my family, Electolux, etc, we find that Sprint is closed for 5 days with no return calls. They are terrible and should never be used. I plan on posting reviews on every site in the hopes no one uses them and businesses stop using them for warranties. Steve has been out most times and has always done a super job. He is extremely knowledgeable and gladly answers questions, even when it's related to a different appliance. So I have had ongoing issues with my refrigerator from Sears, who utilizes Sprint as a contractor for repairs. Many weeks ago someone came out, assessed the issue and said several parts needed ordered and we would get a follow up appt when they came in. Never got a call weeks later. Had to call and call and call to get an appt. Then last Friday they showed up and left a note on my door that they had missed us when I didn't even know they were coming. They came back out today and one of three parts that needed replaced/repaired and the guy said he knew nothing of the rest of the issues. Said the fridge was likely to still have issues because the part didn't seem to help. Duh. Went round and round with Sears again after he left. All in all, I agree with the other review...Sears, along with subpar contractors, make for a terrible customer experience. read more

I then received a call this morning letting me know they would be to my home in about 30 mins. Once they arrived, they were professional and courteous and left my laundry room. Spotless! I had an appointment scheduled for dishwasher repair today 8-12. It's been out of commission since May 22. I waited all morning. I called the office at 11:55am and left a message with my callback number. I called at 12:45pm and left a message with my callback number. I called at 2pm and left a message with my callback number. At 2:45pm I finally called Home Depot to check on the situation. They called over to Sprint Appliance Repair and immediately got an answer. They said that a truck broke down and they couldn't make my appointment. Sprint called the numbers on the account multiple times (so they say) but never tried the callback number I gave them when the appointment was made, or returned the calls I made to their office today, also containing that same call back number. They numbers they did "try" have no missed calls and no messages. They took it upon themselves to schedule me for tomorrow afternoon, with low priority. We'll see if they show. read more

She called day before and updated us of our time and the tech called in route and showed up when he said he would. I dont know what these other people are talking about no call no show. Find someone/anyone else to do a repair. They show up and order parts and never show up again to install. They don't pick up their phones and no one returns call. They are not a quality repair place. You can do a LOT better and there won't be much price difference for much better service. The next place I called repaired first time and no issues. Sears Repair utilizes this company for warranty work. My first call to Sears was on 11/22/16, at which time they assigned Sprint to my case. My dishwasher was finally repaired, by another Sears contractor (A&E) on 12/28/16. After wrestling with Sprint (name is a misnomer. Nothing fast about this company) for a month (literally) and repeated lies to myself AND to Sears ("part came in but it was broken" when in fact the parts are notably backordered. Telling Sears that they scheduled an appointment with me when in fact they hadn't), I called Sears, told them that I didn't want Sprint to be any part of this repair, and asked for A&E. They obliged, set me up with an appointment five days out (thats fine). Tech showed up within the allotted time frame (all day), diagnosed the issue, and found that the part (again) is on backorder. So instead of sitting back, he contacted an appliance parts company in Dayton (who has 20 of the parts in stock), had it delivered to my house within an hour, and buttoned up the job. While waiting for the part to arrive, he left, completed another job, and came right back. AMAZING!! Efficient, smart, AND productive. This is the third time this tech has been to our house for this junk Kenmore Elite dishwasher, and he's always been great. He said he's getting close to retirement, which is too bad. When guys like him retire, we're left with companies like Sprint. The lesson here? If Sears/ Home Depot tries to assign Sprint to your repair order, refuse it. Also, nobody seems to answer the phones which means each time I called I had to leave a message. read more

Unfortunately, I am going to repeat the EXACT same story as everyone else here--Sears sent this company out as part of our Protection Agreement Master Plan. They came out on November 22 and said they needed to order a part and would be back in a week or two. I called Sears two weeks later, three weeks later, four weeks later, five weeks later, six weeks later, seven weeks later. Sears can never get through their phone line (never answer) and their notes always have some excuse: part has not arrived, part has arrived but they actually needed two parts, family emergency, part has been shipped to customer (me) and hasn't arrived, etc. They finally set an appointment 3 days after Christmas, so we cut our holiday short to return home from out of town only to have Spring NOT show up nor call us. It is now another week later and still no part, repair, or response. I've asked Sears to find someone else since since it has been OVER 7 weeks, but they say since they sent SPRINT the part that Sprint has to complete the job---whenever that might be. IF I need another repair from Sears, I am going to push not to allow SPRINT to do it--we shall see how that goes. (and FYI: I have asked Sears on three occasions to allow me to speak to a supervisor at Sears to complain about this unacceptable business, but they put me on hold for 30, 45, and even 65 minutes and eventually just hang up--I know they are frustrated too. read more
