Someone bought the market stand, I don't know much of the farm they bought, or are working on. It didn't seem the same when I went there, but it could have been too early. I wouldn't rule them out, it was a great farm. I had been going to Secors since I was a young girl, my Dad would take the whole family out to pick strawberries. That was when the parents (of the ones that ran it when I went there) were working the farm. They had U-pick a few different berries, blueberries, and maybe raspberries. As an adult, I would go there for fresh vegetables, fruits, and their famous super-sweet corn. You couldn't get this corn anywhere else. It was bi-colored, but much different than any other bi-colored corn. The kernels of their corn were larger than most, and very juicy. I was taught to see if a cob of corn was ready, to burst a kernel. I would use my nails and those kernels would send out a spray of juice a foot or so! Fast forward 60 years, and in 2013, my dad was in the hospital, and it was the beginning of the strawberry season. He loved their strawberries. So I picked up some strawberries and brought them to the hospital. That's how long my family had been going to Secors. I continued the tradition up until they closed.
