We typically stay at another hotel whenever Tifton is our halfway stop to Florida, but this last trip that hotel had a massive jump in price so we switched to Springhill and are super happy! Not sure if every room is the same, but keep in mind that these rooms are very long and narrow. This makes the placement of the bathroom between the beds (sliding door) so if you're sharing with friends it could make for some awkward moments. Beds were super comfy, clean and the staff were very kind. We opted not to eat the breakfast but walked across to Starbucks. Would absolutely stay here again! read more

In brief, no television reception, nearly inedible food at the breakfast bar, multiple plumbing problems, we'd have had a more enjoyable stay elsewhere. Perhaps July isn't a good month for travel, but I can't say they were even close to being booked. The staff were very hospitable, rooms clean, but apparently more maintenance and supervision are needed. They've lost my business, as this isn't the first time. At some point, the "we're sorry" fails to appease. Time to move on. read more

Our return from Orlando was taking longer than expected because my daughter and her team finished third at AAU Nationals (bragging on my girls). We decided to stop in Tifton and this hotel was new and a Marriott property so we went with it. This property was very nice and the staff was covert friendly and accommodating. We got a card for a free wine or beer when we checked in. The room was very clean and the hotel was pretty crowded but also very quiet. Free breakfast from 0600-1000 in the morning is always a plus. This hotel is brand new and beautiful! We love the little design details chosen for the room. The extra wide sofa was quite comfortable for a quick afternoon nap. There is also a walk-in closet, which is quite rare. Really liked the sliding bathroom door. Another plus is that the Tesla superchargers are practically in the parking lot! We have stayed in Springhill Suites many times but this time we were so DISAPPOINTED‼. The hotel is renovating and it is not a great one. The ac that is being installed runs constantly 24-7 and cannot be shut off. I for one can't sleep if there is any light or noise. Seversl other people were complaining about it also. Also the bed is about 6 inches away from the bed. We ask for a refund and found another hotel. I don't recommend anyone staying there‼. read more

If the point of staying in a hotel is sleeping, then this hotel is a fail. I went to great lengths to get a quiet room away from I-75 and the elevators. Everything was going fine until ready for bed. We tried to turn off the a/c unit which was blowing loudly. We couldn't seem to get it turned off at the thermostat or the wall unit itself. I called down to the front desk and was informed that a dehumidifier ran constantly and could not be turned off. She said it should sound like a bathroom exhaust fan. This 'bathroom fan" is about 3 feet from my bed. My husband is usually the poor sleeper, but I am awake listening to the fan. read more

We were simply blown away by this Marriott offering! We were on our way home from a dream vacation in South Florida and decided to stop here to break up our drive. I was so skeptical but there weren't many choices in Tifton. I was so wrong! The suite was spacious, scrupulously clean, well-appointed, and so comfortable. The West Elm furnishings were so attractive, but we were most impressed by how clean and well-maintained the hotel was. We also found a great restaurant in town, which truly made this a fun stay instead of just a night on a long road trip! read more

I really have nothing bad to say about our stay here. The hotel appeared brand new (or recently remodeled) and it was decorated with such a trendy, modern flair, typical in a more urban setting, so we were pleasantly surprised! They did a great job of maintaining COVID protocols with masks, sanitizer, and so many touchless options for signing in and getting in your room. Even the continental breakfast buffet did a good job of utilizing single use and disposable containers. The room we stayed in felt like a trip to New York with it's sliding bathroom door and room dividing desk setup. The beds were comfortable and clean. Last, but certainly not least is that the staff was super friendly and even through masks you could tell that they were smiling. We were just passing through on our way south to Florida, but we will definitely make it a point to stay here again! read more

I stayed in the SpringHill Suites for just one night but would have gladly stayed longer. The hotel is very clean and uses upgraded bedding, room amenities and towels. The rooms are spacious and everything was in working order. In the lobby they have the usually small store and a nice bar area with lots of seating. They are serving breakfast with Covid precautions in place. There were numerous hand sanitation stations throughout the building and the staff was friendly. They offer special rooms for Covid-19 first responders. read more

Was a very nice hotel with a good hot breakfast (waffles, sausage, eggs,cereals). The pool was closed for maintenance and the carpet in the room was very spotty with stains but there were no foul odors. Was fine for a quick stay. read more

During our travels from TN to FL we stopped for the night in Tifton GA at a brand new Springhill Suites. We requested a wheelchair accessible suite (king bed and pull out couch). The lobby is open and airy, with a bar on the right side end. The front desk clerk was friendly and professional, and informed me he would also be bar tending during 6-10 pm when snacks and drinks are available. The room was incredibly well thought out for handicapped needs - even better than the Drury Inn in Orlando (which sets the bar for all Drury Inns, IMHO). The roll in shower has its own light so you can actually see things when the curtain is pulled. The door to the huge bathroom is a barn-style sliding door, which is extremely easy to open and close with one hand. Plenty of room for a chair to turn around, even with an assistant in the room. The downside turned to an upside: housekeeping. We found a Skittles bag under the pull out couch, two straws in the top left drawer of the dresser, a used coffee pouch in the coffee maker and a Skittle on the floor. I politely let the front desk know. He apologized and sent a sweet young woman named Liz to the room right away to take care the aforementioned problems. She did, and also asked if we needed anything else. We asked for a couple more towels and another pillow, which she brought with a smile. We would definitely stay at this Springhill Suites again. Full buffet breakfast starting at 6 am, served by employees during COVID. We will read more

Upon arriving late in the night from travel delays and a credit card error on the reservation, they gave away my room. For those arriving late, be sure to triple check for any potential issues with your reservation or expect the hotel management staff to state that they "contacted you multiple times throughout the day" when it's really just an email and 1 phone call with no voicemail at 10.30 at night that you miss whole unpacking your car in the hotel parking lot. Don't worry, they will stand firm that they were just "following policy". Oh and if you rebook a room in their hotel through the app and are able to check in, that doesn't mean you actually get a room. Well done Marriott! Best in class service! read more

This was an OASIS after driving through backwoods Georgia to get to FAMU. Very clean hotel with a vast breakfast spread. There wasn't anything over the top, but it wasn't supposed to be. Tipton is a small town off of 85. This is perfect for crashing overnight on a road trip. There are a few restaurants nearby. They have a charging station if you have an electric vehicle. Have no reservations about staying here if you need to. read more

While I have enjoyed my 3 stays at this hotel I can't give it a full 5 stars due to the fact that I saw what appeared to be blood splattered on our shower curtain. Usually the rooms appear to be really clean and other than the shower curtain I have no complaints. I would still stay here again since my previous 2 stays were excellent. I know we're all human and this was probably missed by housekeeping, as I'm sure they would have changed it had they seen it. I would recommend washing or changing out the shower curtain in room 330 if it hasn't been done already as my stay was 2 weeks ago. read more

Travelling from Michigan to Florida, Tifton, Ga. has always been a relaxing stop to rest and eat. This is a newer hotel and the GPS robot refused to find an address on "BOO Drive". I had to use the search option and type it in. This worked perfectly. The hotel is only a few hundred feet off I-75 on the west side and traffic noise was not a problem. Easy off, easy on. Restaurants are plentiful. It's a new building, clean, and our room had a desk and king-sized bed. We liked the walk-in shower too. Breakfast was a wide selection, and the food was HOT and delicious. The employees were friendly, cheerful and kept the eating areas cleaned and sanitized. We will be staying there again. read more

Quick about me, I travel from TN to Orlando every month or just about, I am paying $200+ a night, scrambled Eggs, 2 inch Canadian bacon and pre-heated waffles are your ONLY main choices, if you as a hotel are going to charge prices like the big boys, you need to up your breakfast game!! Great new place. This one was just built. The staff are friendly and the place was very clean. I love the room design. Stayed here for four nights in June 2019. Used the exercise room twice - limited but fine. The breakfast is okay, not awesome. They kept running out of coffee and some other things- startup difficulties I guess. Could use more variety in breakfast food. Also the room where you get it was cramped when everyone came down at the same time. Maybe they could spread it out into the dining area. Otherwise, definitely a great place to stay. read more

So I was very nervous about staying in a hotel during The COVID-19 pandemic. However, we just couldn't drive anymore with a screaming toddler!! So we pulled in here-WE ARE SO AMAZED! This is literally the CLEANEST hotel I have ever stayed in... my husband said it is cleaner than the 4 Seasons we stayed in after our wedding!
