That actually could have been the slogan for most rotary dog parks across the country. The rotary, PetSafe and Kane's seem to sponsor the best dog parks. I read the reviews and a lot of people said this is the nicest one in the area and I have no reason to disagree, except, the only poop bag dispenser is a 3 hole one just outside the main gate? Which leads to a lot of biological landmines in the back corners and along the back fence line. The park itself is built on a gently sloping Hill with plenty of room for your dogs to run and more than enough places for you to sit. Eventually the trees should get big enough to provide some shade but currently there is none:-(you park in a nice little gravel parking lot right next to the dog park, the big dog park is the one with the 6-foot fence and the small side is the one with the 4 ft fence?

Although it does appear that they are just now starting to build the park out as most of it is still farm field. They were actually burning the fields the day we were here. The dog park is just a big square nicely fenced area. There is one bench in the big and one bench in the small dog park. There is a water feature but it is outside both of the dog parks? There is a poop bag dispenser and there is a trash can, but the trash can is also outside the gate? There is a nice asphalt path that goes from the parking lot to the dog park and then there is a very nice double gated entry area into both parks. But as of yet there are no shade structures or full grown trees, or trees of any size for that matter. But it is a dog park, and you're welcome to come enjoy it.

This park doesn't get much shade at certain parts of the day as there are no actual trees inside the fenced area, but a few large oaks surround it. Great place to watch the sun set over the river while Mr. Sniff-a-lot enjoys the aroma of the park.

The only downfall is that the fence is old and since my dog is an escape artist he can get through both gates and into the parking lot. I like to think that I trained him not to do that anymore, but in reality he's probably just having so much fun with the other dogs that he forgets that escaping is still an option. I know the crowds are infamous here, and I've had good luck with coming on weekday afternoons. Hiking-wise, you can spend an entire day here or even tack on an extra day if you want to take your time. I typically have a few hours when I come, and I can easily get hike 4-5 miles of trails. There are stunning canyons I still need to check out, and I'll keep returning until I've seen them all!
