The festival is spread out, so it takes a bit of planning to fit everything in. May and June can be very warm, so definitely take some measures to deal with the heat. The productions can be very appealing in so many ways, the artists are very talented and there is usually something very unique about each performance. They make every effort to make this an International festival, and in most ways they succeed. Also happening in Charleston at the same time is the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, so make sure you check their website to plan your daily adventure.
