As far as railway stations go, this one isn't too bad, and it has been completely redesigned due to…read morethe new branch line that heads off towards Redcliffe (though doesn't quite get there). The station is rather practicle, and it also has some decent facilities (which is to me expected for a rather new station) as well as being rather accessible. Okay, it may not be fancy in the way that some stations are fancy, but it works well.

They have express trains to Petrie from Central which can get you there in just over 30 minutes! It's a smaller train stop with three platforms. A few vending machines are available and you can top up your card at the window or on the platform. There is plenty of parking available at Petrie Station as well. Plenty of seating while waiting for the trains to arrive!
