Would never guess there's a sandwich shop in this business complex. I was drawn by the reviews and got a very positive vibe from the staff they've been very polite and attentive. Getting so hungry I order my favorite Italiano and pastrami sandwich on wheat bread hold the tomato and mayo. They gave you a pager when it's ready for pickup. Loved the outdoor patio not too busy though I got there around 10:30. Their hours are very short from 7:30 till 2:30 in the afternoon Monday thru Friday closed on weekends. What's so strange about this place the name Spreadz you don't even see the sign or anywhere else except the one inside, but the name Boar's Head appears on their sandwich wrapper as well as on the outdoor patio umbrellas. Spreadz has some really tasty sandwiches! They have salads and pasta salads and other things too, but we come here for some no-nonsense really tasty sandwiches. They use all quality ingredients, they are quick to serve, and have a wide selection of chips and drinks for you as well! Plus, the sandwiches you get are pretty big for what you pay! I normally eat half for lunch then save the other half for lunch the next day! (And they don't overload you on their tasty cajun mayo, which is good because it means I don't have a soggy sandwich the next day!) I also like that you can personalize your sandwich with other toppings. I like mine with everything and the added bonus of pepperocinis! Really good sandwich! I had a veggie sandwich on sourdough with no substitutions - pickles, onions, cucumber, avocado and mustard. It was a lot bigger than I expected it to be and required quite the bite! Even though it was just veggies it had a lot of flavor and was also filling. I frequent this spot since I work very close to this location. The customer service is excellent and they are very quick to get these orders out. I've had every sandwich on their menu. The unlikeliest place for a very solid deli. My co worker has the caloric need/consumption of a race horse so we actually came here to split a sandwich after we had already eaten! Really good roast beef with cheese on dutch crunch. They use Boarshead meats I believe so the quality is known. The inside is like a small lounge and they have plenty of outside seating. Here's the good: Breakfast menu: The bagel and English muffin sandwiches are a great change from their normal sandwiches. Croissants are also available, but I have not tried them. These sandwiches cheap, about $3-$4, and come with egg, a choice of meat (turkey, ham, or bacon), and your choice of cheese. It's simply wonderful on a cold morning. If you want to give these breakfast sandwiches a go, you need to go early. I recommend coming before 11-11:30 AM before their menu changes to lunch. Needs improvement: Coffee. They have a standard menu for their coffee beverages that you'd see at most cafes and bakeries; however, the drinks are not comparable to any standard chain cafes like Peet's or Starbucks. My coworker ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a mocha, but we were unimpressed with our drinks. I've worked in a café before and the lack of body in my mocha (which usually comes from steamed, foamy milk) disappointed me. But hey, this is a sandwich shop, not a café! Grab one of the many bottled beverages on their display to pair with your sandwiches instead. Lunch menu: My opinion hasn't changed from my last review. Dutch crunch is a must and I highly recommend the chipotle chicken or pastrami. If you're feeling adventurous or like a change, ask for their daily specials. Spreadz is a hidden gem in the monotony of Santa Clara's numerous office parks. The first time I visited, I got hopelessly lost based off of Google Maps' directions. Thankfully, the app figured itself out eventually. Spreadz is tucked away in the center of the office park, so it took a bit of crawling around the parking lot at 5mph before I spotted their patio seating and found parking. The inside isn't big, but there are a few tables for dine in. The majority of the patrons seem to be picking up to go orders. Apparently you can call or email in your order ahead of time too, so it's ready for pick up when you arrive. The line didn't take long either though. I enjoyed my daily special of Chicken Pesto on Dutch Crunch, albeit without the mustard, mayo, pickles, or onions. I wish it had come with some melty cheese though. This little unknown gem sits in between a lot of small businesses. Doesn't seem like anyone knows about. I sit on Yelp all day at work when I'm bored.. and my friend mentioned she loves a place called Spread in Campbell... I thought it was a chain, so that's why I checked it out :P. Turns out this is something completely different, but the photos still had my drooling. My friend and I ordered a Turkey sandwich and a Pastrami Sandwich. The turkey sandwich was good. I LOVE pastrami, but sadly this was cut so thinly that the texture just kind of felt like the thinly cut turkey, and that took away from the flavor as well, so really the pastrami kind of tasted like nothing. We also got chips and they have Deep River brand, which is a huge plus for me since they are my favorite type of chips!
