Ich hab schon einige Sprachenschulen in Deutschland und in verschiedenen anderen Ländern besucht, aber das Sprachenatelier sticht unter allen heraus! Diese lockere und entspannte Atmospähre, die einen schon beim Reinkommen ins Gebäude empfängt, ist meiner Meinung nach echt einzigartig. Mittlerweile besuche ich schon den dritten Italienischkurs - e posso dire che mi piace un sacco!! :) Das tolle am Sprachenatelier ist, dass sie nicht nur den Sprachkurs superflexibel und kundenfreundlich organisieren, die Lehrer (hatte bisher zwei verschiedene) kompetente Muttersprachler sind, die einem jede Angst vor Fehlern nehmen, und die Atmosphäre wie beschrieben superangenehm ist - das Sprachenatelier organisiert auch regelmäßig kulturelle Veranstaltungen und steht voll hinter dem "wir sind ein Ort interkultureller Begegnung und Kommunikation und bringen kulturinteressierte und künstlerisch tätige Menschen aus aller Welt zusammen" von der Webseite. Was bei anderen oft nur als blabla gemeint ist und geschrieben wird um Seiten zu füllen. Ich war letztes Jahr (2010) auf der Lesung von Ilma Rakusa (2009 Schweizer Buchpreisträgerin!), hab ein (inoffizielles) Konzert einer italienischen Gruppe besucht, die gerade einen Deutschkurs im Sprachenatelier machte und war auf der Filmpremiere von einem Spanier, der ebenfalls mal Deutschkursteilnehmer im Sprachenatelier war. Ach, und die Ausstellung, die momentan noch zu sehen ist in der zweiten Etage nicht zu vergessen: ein Mexikaner hat unter dem Titel "Traumjäger" riesengroße Origami-Installationen errichtet. Ich kann mich den meisten meiner Vorredner nur anschließen: das Sprachenatelier ist etwas ganz Besonderes! Ich besuche hier seit über einem Jahr einen Englischkurs. Inzwischen ist unsere Gruppe wirklich toll zusammengewachsen, und das trotz wechselnder Dozenten. Wir hatten ja erst Bedenken, als es hieß unsere geliebte Lehrerin N. würde zurück in die USA gehen und wir bekämen nun C. Aber alle Sorgen waren total unbegründet. Das Sprachenatelier hat wirklich ein gutes Händchen bei der Wahl seiner Dozentinnen und Dozenten! Das haben mir auch Teilnehmer aus anderen Sprachkursen - mit denen man vor Unterrichtsbeginn im Flur ins Gespräch kommt, wenn man darauf wartet, das der Kursraum (manchmal nicht so ganz pünktlich) frei wird - bestätigt. Der Unterricht macht Spaß, man wird motiviert einfach mal draufloszusprechen und wenn es Grammatik gibt, dann sehr anschaulich und anhand praktischer Beispiele erklärt. Ich hatte und habe immer das Gefühl, dass alle sich im Sprachenatelier sehr wohl fühlen und dass der Unterricht dort für die Dozenten auch nicht so eine anonyme Geschichte ist wie beispielsweise an der VHS. Man sieht sofort, dass sich das Büroteam sehr persönlich um alle(s) kümmert. Und auch die Dozenten untereinander sich kennen und unterhalten. Deswegen mein Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert! Für Englisch, Spanisch, Schwedisch und Arabisch - und bestimmt auch für die anderen der über 40 (!) angebotenen Sprachkurse! read more

Mein Deutschkurs in Sprachenatelier Berlin ist der bester Kurs für mich! Seit September ich lerne so viel und ich habe alle meine Freunde in Sprachenatelier Berlin kennen gelernt. Unsere Deutschlehrerin sind sehr nett und können gut erklären. Normalerweise ich hasse Grammatik, aber mit meine Lehrerin ist nicht mehr so schlimm. Wir reden und lachen viel in der Kurs und auch Nachmittag und Abend wir machen viele Dings zusammen mit meine Freunde. Vor die Weihnachtspause es gab eine Weihnachtsrevue in Sprachenatelier Berlin. Alle Studenten haben zusammen gesungen und gefeiert und auch der Weihnachtsmann war da! Ein Mexikan Student hat ein Ausstellung mit Origami gemacht. In Sprachenatelier gibt es viele Künstler und Musiker. Die Atmosphere ist perfekt! Noch nie habe ich in so eine Schule wie Sprachenatelier gewesen. Die Studenten kommen aus viele verschiedene Länder und man kann Freunde machen mit Japaner, Schweden, Engländer, Französe, Italiener, Russen, ... Noch eine gute und fair Idee von Büro von Sprachenatelier Berlin ist man kannst Pause machen von Kurs und dann wiederkommen und man musst nicht bezahlen, wann man vorher gesagt hast. Not a good course!! I did the evening course 3hours a week for 4weeks and I'm really disappointed with it.... I spent €175 between enrolling, doing the course and the book which we never used?!!! I did a beginners course and we spent almost half the time in the first class learning each other's names- it's all good to make friends there but I went to learn German and get to the know the people after class!! Also the first thing we did was to write down as many words in German starting with whatever letter the teacher gave us....but he never wrote them on the board just the "scores" so we couldn't even learn new words in the first exercise?! The remainder of the course it was about learning office words like scanner and computer but they are the same in German as in English!!!! I was really hoping to learn useful phrases or maybe useful words but it was all just bulls**t!! I never write bad reviews about things but this really deserved it!! The teacher was a nice guy and not bad at his job but his methods were not great....writing things on the board would have made more sense and teaching us words that are needed on a day to day basis would have been a lot more helpful! read more

Jetzt muss ich auch mal über das Sprachenatelier schreiben und mich outen: Ich bin ein begeisterter Fan dieser Schule! Seit knapp einem Jahr lerne ich nun Türkisch im Sprachenatelier Berlin und habe im letzten Jahr mit Hilfe des Sprachenateliers eine wunderschöne SprachReise in die Türkei unternommen. Das Sprachenatelier hat mir seine Kooperationspartner in der Türkei empfohlen und ich habe Land und Leute von ihrer besten Seite kennen lernen können. In den drei Wochen in der Türkei habe ich meine Sprachkenntnisse unter anderem in einem Intensivsprachkurs enorm verbessern können - sodass ich nach meiner Rückkehr sogar eine Kursstufe nach oben gewechselt bin. Eine Freundin von mir hat übrigens schon schon seit längerem versucht Arabisch zu lernen, meist jedoch nach kurzer Zeit frustriert wieder aufgegeben, weil ihr die Unterrichtsmethoden an den verschiedenen Sprachschulen nicht gefallen haben. Aufgrund meiner Empfehlung lernt sie nun Arabisch im Sprachenatelier - und ist begeistert von der kommunikativen Methode ihres neuen Arabischlehrers. read more

Best language school I've ever been to!!! I did a 3 month internship at the beautiful Sprachenatelier, took a language course and since I am a student in the Teacher Training Program, I also observed numerous different language classes. The atmosphere in the whole language school is extremely relaxed and a wide variety of languages is spoken. It does't matter if you are a native speaker, C2 level or barely A1 - the staff, teachers and everyone involved with the Sprachenatelier are very nice and approachable people that help you in every situation (there aren't any wrong questions ;) ). Besides, the atmosphere being very friendly, the staff and teachers are very dedicated and hard working (which results in excellent language courses, high learning outcome and a perfect organisation). I really enjoyed my time in this great language school and got to know many different and amazing people! Would recommend the Sprachenatelier to everyone! read more

I have had a great time studying at Sprachenatelier Berlin. The teachers are all really strong and are very committed to improving our language skills. The atmosphere is really vibrant and their strong cultural program really contributes to the overall experience of living in Berlin. They organize outside activities daily during the summer and weekly during the other months. They are also really helpful with finding accommodation in Berlin. The area where the school is located, Friedrichshain, is a really lively and happening area of Berlin as well. I have tried a number of language schools, and this has been the best experience so far. An added bonus is that the course prices are very reasonable as well. If you're looking to study in Germany and have a rich cultural experience without breaking the bank, you really can't go wrong with Sprachenatelier Berlin. read more

Sprachenatelier is the best language school you can probably find in Berlin! The teachers are lovely, lessons are filled with laughter and the course prices are reasonable, although during summer they double - but if you started your course before summer you could just continue paying pre summer prices, which was really fair! Some of my classmates changed to cheaper schools after four weeks of classes at Sprachenatelier, but ALL of them returned saying they learnt nothing at the other school and had just spent their time filling out forms and doing written exercises! Sprachenatelier means a lot of talking even if you start learning German as an absolute beginner (like me). The friendly and warm atmosphere is supported by the building which is an old liberty style (modern style) house with a stunning "Salon" where we watched movies and had our farewell revue. read more

I took a Japanese evening course at Sprachenatelier and I was very satisfied! The classes are taught in German, however if like me, your German is not that good, the teachers always try to help you by speaking English or trying to use easier vocabulary and phrases. Overall the course was really good: you have the chance to practice a lot since the classes are quite small (in my class we were 8). The teachers provide you with vocabulary lists to learn, Kanji lists as well in my case for Japanese, and many exercises to do at home. What I liked the most is the very relaxed atmosphere and the international environment. I have studied languages in different countries for several years and I can tell that Sprachenatelier is an awesome place to learn languages! read more

Miałam niesamowitą okazję pomagać przy organizowaniu i realizacji wakacyjnego programu kulturowego oraz środy kulturowej. Dzięki pracy w międzynarodowym zespole nie tylko rozwinęłam swoje kompetencje językowe, lecy także nawiazałam wiele znajomości. I'm glad I choose Sprachenatelier to study German when I came to Berlin. The teachers are awesome, the cultural program lets you discover all the cool things Berlin has to offer and the groups are full of interesting people from all around the world. I attended the B1 - B2 courses for 6 months and learned a lot. Now I can speak more fluently and feel pretty confident about my German. I made a bunch of new friends from different countries with whom I'm still in touch with. I had a lot of fun during my time there. If I finally decide to study C1 I will definitely choose Sprachenatelier again! I can honestly recommend it. read more

I arrived last week to Berlin for a German language course at Sprachenatelier Berlin, a pretty awesome school I must say. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. After doing a leveling test they found the perfect class for me (A1 level since I'm a total beginner hehehe) and also gave me support on the accommodation search. I'm super happy with my teacher (Mariaaaa ^^) and my class mate are awesome! The atmosphere is pretty international and open and feels very welcoming. I really enjoyed my time at Sprachenatelier Berlin and will definitely come back next summer! The atmosphere at Sprachenatelier is great, everybody is really nice and helpful in many ways. For example, when I had trouble finding accommodation in Berlin, they helped me finding an appartment just next door to the school. The teachers I had were all (I had three different teachers in eight weeks) very good and well prepared so that lessons were always fun and interesting. I did an evening German course at B2/C1 level here at Sprachenatelier for 3 months in 2016 and it was great. My teacher (Katharina) was the best - always in a great mood, funny, enthusiastic and seemed to be genuinely passionate about teaching. The lessons were always informative, fun and I felt like I really learned something everytime. The school is in a fantastic location and has such a lovely, cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Ich habe den Niederländisch-Kurs für Anfänger im Sprachenatelier besucht. Reinder ist ein super Lehrer - sympathisch und lustig, aber auch ehrgeizig und streng, vor allem was die Aussprache betrifft. Ich habe viel gelernt und wäre froh, wenn bald ein Fortgeschrittenen Kurs zustande käme. Ich finde super, dass Reinder Muttersprachler ist. Ich finde auch bemerkenswert, dass alle mit denen ich in Sachen Administratives zu tun hatte, super freundlich und hilfsbereit sind. Gerne wieder! read more

Very relaxed atmosphere. Great teachers-you really look forward every day to attend your course. I have attended German courses in Berlin at other schools like Tandem, Deutschakademie and Goethe Institut. There it was only important that you get your certificate and make the test, but here the teachers really give a lot effort to teach you, not just grammar and rules, but how to communicate on teh language aswell. I am recommending it to everybody. read more

Ich nahm einen C1 Kurs beim Sprachenatelier- ich fand die Lehrerinnen super freundlich und die Unterrichte nützlich. Als ich mein C1 Zertifikat von Telc bekommen habe, war es etwas spät. Telc war schuld aber die Sekretärinnen von dem Sprachenatelier hat mir wirklich damit geholfen. Ich empfehle Sprachenatelier :) read more
