Where to even start. This place actually has me learning about the Better Business Bureau, I had to contact them this morning to file a complaint. Monday Sept. 18th 2023, I contacted this business to get a quote on doing a move out clean for myself and my husband. I've never had a home cleaned by someone else but myself so calling multiple places to get quotes is important to understand the range I was looking for. Spotless Magic World happened to be the first place I contacted sadly. I gave the man I spoke with all of the information that he needed to give me a quote via text. When I did not respond to said quote in less than 20 minutes he proceeded to call me. I was on the phone with another company so I didn't answer. Once the call had ended I received a text message "?" I can only assume because I didn't respond fast enough for them. Which is weird already. I responded saying that I was just getting quotes and I'd let them know what I was doing shortly. I found another company who had a specific sale going on that fit my needs perfectly and the price was lower. So I texted back the owner informing him that I had found a lower and better price suited for my needs. His response was and I quote "some people prefer to pay less over quality". What an insult, I let him know that I would be including this in my bad review of their company and that I was grateful I had gone with a different company. So I post the review, receiving nothing back in that day which was to be expected. Here's the kicker though, I wake up the next morning to missed phone calls and multiple texts from the same guy threatening a lawsuit against me for "slander" and that nothing I said was true. I immediately blocked his phone number and went to look at my review to see if I should delete it. As I'm evaluating I receive a message from a new number saying "see you in court". I told this number that they're harassing me and blocked the number. Onto the next number that calls me multiple times and texts me multiple times. Believe it or not MORE threats. This went on all day Tuesday Sept. 19th I received texts and phone calls from 4 phone numbers each one I just had to block. The 5th was the "owner" but so was the 3rd number apparently. From this 4th number I received a calmer approach along with bribes to change my 1 star review and also more accusations of lying. I responded stating the fact I have been threatened, harassed, accused of lying, and now to the bribery. This 4th number is now giving me a sob story of how they're doing this for their daughter and that I should accept $100 in the form of credit or an assortment of gift cards. Which is also insulting, I don't need nor want their money. I promptly blocked the number after very clearly saying do not contact me again. But of course maybe an hour later I receive a text from her "second work phone" again bribing me. I AGAIN blocked the number. I thought it was over. Fast forward to today, I receive not one but 2 phone calls from their 6th number used to harass me some more. I answered the phone thinking this issue had just been a "lost cause" for them but nope. It's the husband owner again begging me to change my review. After my husband spoke with him on the phone I texted the number to not contact me. Then blocked it. More to come? Maybe. If I can say anything about this business, it's a joke a fraud and incredibly unprofessional. The harassment I have received in 4 days is RIDICULOUS. DO NOT CONTRACT THESE PEOPLE. If you don't like their work they'll gaslight and harass you until you bend to their will. Go with a real professional cleaner. Do not use Spotless Magic World LLC An absolute JOKE of a service! Our mattress is left soaking wet and stained and our carpet still wreaks of dog urine. I called the owner and asked him to rectify and I was told if I left a bad review he would sue me. They also rented a carpet cleaner from LOWES. Save your OVER $200!!!!! I should've known they were a joke when he kept changing his prices and kept going back and forth on when he could do the service, because he was desperate for work. JOKE!!!! My mother was out of town for a month and needed someone to come take care of the general cleaning upkeep. Spotless Magic was available next day at a fair rate. The cleaning team did a great job and there was not a dog hair in sight once they were through. I am very pleased with the work and professionalism of this company! read more
