Stumbled upon this sports store right outside of Campo Santa Maria de Formosa in Venice. Oddly…read moreenough, I had forgotten to pack a small backpack or day-bag to go hiking in. The last hike we took I basically hiked in my pretty leather bag all awhile toting it up and down the Cinque Terre trails (yes that was me in sports wear AND my travel bag!).
So I knew I had to find a bag to accommodate our upcoming hikes in Germany in the next couple of weeks. It's manifest destiny I tell you that this store was right outside where we are staying!! Back packs, hiking packs, draw string bags, fanny packs....you name it they have it!!
They don't carry actual sporting goods like balls and weight training gear but they do carry stylish outerwear, dry-fit clothing here from Columbia and Superdry.
Also if your needing a pair of slippers (slippahs as we call in it Hawaii) aka flip-flops or zories - this is your store. Trainers aka sports shoes can also be purchased here as well as the ever so poplular trekking poles.
We ended up buying a day bag as well as an Italian brand trekking/back packing bag for this trip.
Awesome customer service!! The gentleman that helped us helped with the fitting of the trekking bag and was able to demonstrate all the different ways to use the bag for the different purposes it was intended for. I guess true backpacking is in the cards for me in the future.
