The clothing is fairly dressy with some stunning long evening dresses (some brightly coloured) but also some less dressy tops that you could wear in the evening, possibly the day time, depending on your engagement. My favourite find, although I didn't purchase it was a short red dress with a ruffle effect at the top. I was trying to work out where on earth I would wear the dress. I have so many in my wardrobe that I just couldn't possibly, at the minute, justify another buy. So thanks Desire but I need to find a reason for a new purchase, but hope to see you again soon!

Since Dorothy Perkins reopened in a larger store inside the new Golden Square extension, it's been…read moremuch improved. Not only is it larger and lighter, so much easier to look around, but the stock seems to have improved too. There are certainly more trendy items here than what we used to have and a really good shoe selection enough to tempt any woman. For the guys we have Burtons upstairs but I've not visited so cannot review that. I can testify that customer service is excellent as today I had to return a coat that had a ripped pocket and button falling off, after only 1.5 day wear! I've only been to work in it so was surprised as the quality did seem ok. I could have repaired it myself but I still had the receipt in my purse so popped in to see what they would do. The assistant was great, I explained the problem and said I wanted a replacement coat but needed to wear it there and then, she swapped it without hesitation or question and behaved as if it was no bother to them at all. So while I'm not too happy about the fact it happened to start with, I guess nothing can be perfect, but they handled the situation really well and I've already spotted some nice things in there to go back for!

It is still a great shop full of quality clothes,which are mainly day to day clothes,nightwear,dressy,officewear,also nice suits if you are going to a wedding or christening. They have loads of nice shirts in here ,great clothes to get in here if you want to get work clothes,they have some really lovely jewellery here from gold to silver. This is a great place to go for christmas presents i went here last year got a lovely jumper for my mum,it can be expensive but it is quality stuff. Staff are always welcoming.

Both of them are good in there own right, both shops have great staff especially the retail park there more friendly and still greet. There cloths quality is great for the price and not everthing is designed for miss ultra thin, good fit pant and jeans with three leg legnth's from petti to long. Jumpers are very good most of theres are just that bit longer, I love a slobby jumper. Really nice suits, I get most of my work suits from here and they wear really well, blouses too. Evening wear is always fantastic and there sales are worth a trip out for.

There is a good selection of clothing for teenagers from 11-16,and a selection of menswear at reasonable prices. The jewellery is quite expensive for the quality of it. The staff are always very helpful and friendly,if you want to get good value for your money this is the place to be.

What is good at new look, is at the back of the shop you can find the bargains, which also includes items from their childrens range.
