I've patronized the store for more than 10 years and I've yet to be greeted warmly when I've walked through the door. The women who work in the store, God bless them, are not warm. Polite, yes. Warm, no. Polite,, yes. Engaging, no. Polite, yes. Talkative, no. Helpful, yes if I have a question. Welcoming, no. But I'm a dedicated Janome woman. My bracelet, which my granddaughter Khaleesi made me last Christmas, broke a few weeks ago. I was sad, made more sad because my fat fingers could not fix it. I remembered the kind manager at Michael's from previous helpful experiences so I thought she could direct me what to do. April guided me into the classroom where she worked on it for awhile - still answering other customer and colleagues needs while painstakingly stringing my beads together. Bless her.
