September. Greatness. This place has become THE pub to spend my weekends at in the last years…read more Well, before moving to Hamburg, that is. But this fine Pub has managed to drag me back to Lüneburg on almost every single weekend so far, so I guess it still counts. What is wrong with you? You live in Hamburg! Town of the cheap beer and neat parties! Why would you go to Lüneburg just for a pub all the time?, you ask? Well, I shall tell you. The September is just right. You can walk in there as a complete stranger and feel welcome almost immediately. You get to sit around in one of the most comfy smokers' areas there is. You are supplied by the friendliest waitresses (and waiters) I know of. And last but not least: You get to hang around 'till the pub closes - which is about never. Seriously, they stay opened LONG. If you're not convinced yet, I suggest you stay home. I rest my case.

I became familiar with this pub when I had my company offsite in Lüneburg, so decided to go here…read morewith my Mr. during our weekend get-a-way to the lovely little town. We decided to have a light dinner and some drinks. We ordered the fried potatoes with friend egg, which was really tasty. Then we ordered several rounds of shots, beer and wine--introduced the Mr. to the Mexicaner and Korn :D The pub is quite big with a lot of seating upstairs and downstairs. Only thing I didn't like was that they allowed smoking inside. Other than that, food was good and drinks are reasonable.
