They examined it quickly to determine if parts needed to be ordered. In going through the checklist the mechanic discovered an improperly attached fuel injector....something 'accomplished' by the other shop. Got it back in one day! It is a 2 hour drive but we'll worth it for their service. And it runs better than ever.

A Clayton marina wouldn't even take the time to look at it, & that has happened to us in the past. But Chalks did & replaced a solenoid quickly so they were back on the water. The lack of service by the Clayton marina cost them a potential jet ski sale because none of our family will ever go back there.

When we arrived, we planned on only playing 9 holes but after we finished, we decided to go get some lunch and come back for the back 9. Even though a league was going on later in the evening, they were able to squeeze us in to play the back 9 which was just as good as the front. The course was beautiful; very well maintained and quiet. The customer service was excellent for "both" our trips. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend!

Came here with friends to try this place. Should have read the reviews first before coming!…read more When you walk in the front door no one was there, no sign to direct us so we walked through the bar to get to the hostess. Reservations were made so we were seated right away. Our server was nice and offered drinks right away which we all asked for water. I ordered the veal parmigiana served with spaghetti. They had a special on prime rib which my husband order, came with your choice of potato, he ordered baked. Our table was served with bread/butter. I ordered the fried calamari. Salads came out next. Calamari came out and I knew it from just looking at it, not fresh.. frozen from packaging and deep fried.. Ugh! Not good. Rubbery. My order came out and first glance okay. Tried the veal, very firm and difficult to chew. Spaghetti was over cooked but the sauce was good. This is not "fresh" cutlet. Also frozen from packaging. Husband prime rib was on point... very good. Not sure if we will be coming back here. Very disappointed

As it turned out, she out-fished all of us! We chalked it up to beginners luck :) We wrapped up the day with a delicious shore lunch where I learned of my two new favorite twists on regular BLTs (adding white onions) and French Toast (deep fried with real maple syrup and a shot of Jack) which is apparently a tradition up in that neck of the country. The fresh caught fish was also perfectly fried up and was absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for more during our time away from the hectic city life. We will definitely be returning to the Thousand Islands and will be employing his skills and expertise again. Thank you for the great time Dave!
