This place is amazing…read more I love plants but am a bit of a plant serial killer. I can't tell you how many lovely green friends I've gone through throughout the years. I try, but I fail. I really put my best effort but always tend to over love them. I found Wild Roots and immediately fell in love with the place. I spoke to the girl who immediately greeted me. Told her about my love of plants and my murderous ways and she graciously walked me through the plants she thought I'd be good with. She took her time and made sure I had a good understanding on the watering needs as well as the sun desires of these lovely things So I took my time, walked around, and found 1 plant to call my own. I could have bought an entire forest worth but I wanted to make sure I was able to take care of the one I had before I slaughtered their entire inventory. So far so good my plant is still alive. I've been listening to the advice I was given and I can't wait to go back and something else to add to my apartment to make my home feel even more green.

Be still my heart - this store is absolutely precious. So much cute stuff…read more I've purchased BR products online but this was my first trip into the actual store. I was a kid in a candy shop! Everything was so beautifully curated and immaculately displayed. The standard sized brass 'spirit eye' lighter cover I came in for was sold out, which was okay, that just means I get to make another trip down the road. They make their own fragrances too and I ended up getting the "Lagoon" one which was fitting while in St. Pete's for a beach day. Desert Fleur was also a front runner for next time. They also have a beautifully curated (smallish) selection of clothing and jewelry. A sweet little opal ring came home with me. Not to be missed is a great selection of pillows by Justina Blakeney, the boho goddess herself, along with super cute wall hangings in every shape and size. Overall the store had a great vibe. Great customer service to boot. I love when store associates get as excited as I do about things they also have a passion for. Hot tip: If you're looking for a gift idea, check out their "Hand poured in Saint Petersburg, FL" candles which would make a lovely local souvenir.

I don't remember the young ladies' name who take care of us, but she was amazing. I opted to do the single wick for $38, but I loved that it still had options for the color vessel. I bought a Christmas gift for someone and was told I could come back and exchange it for a different size if needed. I ended up deciding to return it before the holiday, but was unaware that I could only exchange...not return. No explanation whatsoever. 1-800-Flowers even told us that they were delivered on May 9, but that was false, so a subsequent investigation had to be done to confirm that nothing was actually delivered. Shocked by the lack of professionalism of this business given that the order was placed over two months in advance. For what it's worth, the flowers were actually pretty good. But as far as value is concerned, I would not go with this florist again given the stress we all experienced and the time we wasted.
