I went to this location today, only to find the store was closed. I was disappointed. It was only 7:30pm when I got there, the sign on the door said Open till 8:00p. If a store is going to close early, a sign stating the reason for an early closure would of been helpful. There were employees still inside the building and were reluctant to give an answer. Wasted so much time! I was approved online and went into the store to complete the process, which were the next steps. Website says they do not do hard inquiries on credit, and after 30 minutes my credit was denied (not due to score, but because of too many hard inquiries). I have a high score and only had 3 hard inquiries on my account, all 3 were from them!!!! None of the staff members are knowledgeable about the process and were absolutely no help. They did manage to collect all of my personal data and open to credit account under my name that has yet to be closed. Find other options. read more

Everyone has an opinion how this place. Remember that you can be treated the same way that you treat others. I've been going here for almost 8 yrs and only a few hiccups. But they have always been courteous, friendly and helpful to the end. They go through a lot when they have to deal with people that don't listen and follow the rules. For some reason I've never felt the need to order checks. But once in a blue moon I need a check for something and I go straight to Speedy Cash for a quick easy money order. They are so much less expensive than my bank and most other money order places in the area. It's also a fairly simple process after the first time giving them your information. There have been a few times I called to ask a question and their phone etiquette is suburb. They're cheerful and helpful and it seems like they don't hate their jobs. They are the same way when you go in, and can usually get you out of there fast. This location is clean and professional and I'm glad I found this one. I wouldn't use them for loans as their interest rates are insane, but I guess as a last resort you could count on them in a pinch. read more

So this place is complete cramp!!!!! I went to this place a total of 4 times to get money orders and they offered me a membership. When I went to get my money order after acquiring membership they told me my account was blocked. It was interesting seeing that my account was blocked seeing I don't request loans nor do I cash checks there. It took one month for this store to call me back after I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager ( never did a manager come to the phone or call back). Once I was called they still had no answer to why my account was blocked then referred me to corporate. I call corporate I'm on hold for over 5 minutes she comes back to tell me they blocked my account due to business reasons. I'm very educated so I know what that means because I don't put any of my money into their business they were denying me business there. I asked why offer me this membership to block me? She had no response of course nor did she deny the fact they blocked me because I don't ask for loans or put any money into speedy cash. I am so thankful that the employees at speedy cash are complete lazy, incompetent idiots. They saved my life by not cashing my checks claiming they could not be verified because not only did I got to western union up the road and they cashed it I also saved money. Speedy cash was gonna charge me 6 percent and western union cashed my check no problem was able to verify the funds and only charged me 3 percent. Do not go to speedy cash they are a rip off and waste of time mind you it took the half a hour to not help me. read more

It's so irritating when your standing in a 6 person line with only 2 girls at the windows. Why doesn't the manager help out instead of chatting and laughing with another girl assuming is already clocked out for the night. The manager came to lock the doors and didn't even say sorry for wait, or anything accommodating. She goes back behind the counter just to talk with the same girl sitting doing nothing. I've been coming here for years and the previous manager Leilani was SUPER rude to customers as well as rude to her own staff, not to mention lazy. Everytime i come she's sitting on her butt and yelling at her staff from her office while they run back and forth to customers because she's too lazy to get up and deal with customers directly. Maybe that's why they fired her. I'm only giving this location 4 stars because the new manager is MUCH more friendly with customers and makes me feel more welcomed. The staff seems happier too.
