Gold Coast (Nerang)…read moreAfter a TWO week wait still didn't fix my windshield on a bs policy that makes no sense on my car and left me stranded with 22km between me and the car. - Windscreen not available for a week - Didn't arrive. - Rescheduled for 4 days later (2weeks total) - Dropped car off for 13:00 appointment - 16:00: arranged uber won't me pick up - 17:00: informed taxi will be arranged - Also told repair not done due to their policy - Policy in this instance was idiotic - Taxi won't pick me up either - My car is 20km away from their shop and they are happy for me to give them permission to leave it outside so I can collect it after a 22km walk, or they'll drop it off in another suburb for it's car audio appointment in the morning, which is even further away. - Their policy relates to them not being able to recalibrate the camera, which does nothing on my car (a basic model) - They say it's a safety issue. However, their technician alarmingly demonstrated just how unsafe the windshield is currently, but they're happy to discharge it to me in a MUCH MORE UNSAFE CONDITION than an uncalibrated, useless camera. - They suggest I get the dealership to fix the issue with the camera that does nothing on my car, so presumably I could do that after they fixed my windshield. An utterly useless, wasted day and a struggle to get to my car tomorrow. I will slaughter O'Brien on every internet platform I can find. Completely useless.
