As the fuel was pumping, I went to grab the station squeegee (a few feet away) and took 2 steps. As I walked back to the car, the cashier turned off my pump. I thought it was a pump error so I repeated the steps and as the fuel is again pumping, I grabbed the squeegee next to the car and took a step toward the windshield. Again, the cashier stopped my pump as I was just next to the driver side door. I went inside and asked why she was stopping my pump. She said I had to be actively operating the pump as per fire code and it was listed on the pump station. This is clearly incorrect and I was severely annoyed but it was also clear that the cashier would never change her mind so discussing the matter was a waste of time. There were customers that sat in their car as the pumps operated but apparently I couldn't clean my windshield even though I had visibility on the pump and could activate the shutoff switch just as quickly as if I were manually holding down the dispenser handle. And of course, nothing in MA's fire code prevents a customer from needing to actively hold the pump or stand next to it. The self serve pumps accept credit cards. I had to ask for a receipt as the pump would not give one. The attendant was polite and glad to help. The lack of a receipt at the pump was the only drawback. My experience was positive, fix the receipt issue, and I can predict a 5 star rating in the future !

The store was redone but the previous layout was more shopper friendly. The self serve coffee counter was moved from the entrance near the newspapers to the back of the store. The ice cream was removed from the other refrigerator items and is sold in a small freezer at the front of the store. There is now a warm food section by the register. With this remodel most of the windows have been partially or fully block making this a darker and more confining retail space.

I started looking up the business's information then went to the other gas station next door, if customer service is to complicated then maybe she should find another job, I will be advising my friends who live in the area not to spend their hard earned money there. I won't be back to any Seasons Corner Market stores. I understand there are company policies to follow yet my parents owned their businesses and if any of their employees spoke like that to a customer they would of been terminated on the spot. Heather who took my order never asked if I wanted anything else. If you're correct and it's precooked from frozen why does it take 10 minutes. The counter behind had a bunch of open containers like they just leave out. One person was giving out samples I believe and only left one on the floor trying to handle drive thru and front counter.
