Either there is a defect in their pumps or their gas is really low grade, but I put in $10.50 worth…read moreof gas in my car and my car registered none of it. I drove around for a bit thinking it would eventually pop up with the new miles to empty I had, but it did not. Went to another gas station to put some gas in and that gas immediately was accounted for on my dash. Thought I was going crazy, so I did the math for my typical miles per gallon/current gas price I got at the other place and it added up. Where the $10 in gas I paid for at this gas station went? I have no clue, but enough of an alarm for me not to come back to use their pumps

I mean, it's called Scary Shell for a reason folks. The walk-up window reminds me of a jail or prison commissary (have your ID ready to show) but at least the employees are practicing good social distancing from the customers. Probably doesn't hurt to always look like you just got done stabbing someone 83 times or alternately would have zero inhibitions about chewing somebody's ear off their face (‼) if you want some of the more interesting regulars to leave you alone. Bonus points if you can get some kind of menacing facial twitch going on demand. I've never actually been worried about getting shot or stabbed here but then again I'm also not trying to buy/sell/use drugs here either (seriously y'all if you can't score someplace else, Just Say No to this amateur hour clusterfūck... and not just because police are watching pretty much constantly. When I pulled in there last month I was impressed that the gas price was lower many other stations around town based on my # gasbuddy app. There's only one entrance and exit directly off of #libertystreet due to the high black fence around the lot. The lot is a little worn in places but the actual gas pumps worked very well. I had no problem entering my #fuelrewards discount and paying at the pump. I've never been inside the store but it has a lot of customer walk up traffic. I have always felt safe here. At the most I've heard an occasionally loud interaction between customers on the lot. Most of the time this has been friendly & not aggressive. Until next time be kind to each other. #gasstations #otr @yelpcincy #fuelrewards

During the year of the pandemic, this is one place that I've noticed customers not wearing a mask. Yes, I understand, you run from your car into the store to grab something quick and then return to your car - why wear a mask? The masks are to protect others from you. So, be courteous and respectful. Wear a mask even if you are in the store for one second or ten minutes. The employees are wearing one to protect you, so, protect them and all the other customers that go into the building. As for the services offered by Speedway, they make it a great place to go for a wide variety of sodas, snacks, and even a small packet of aspirin, if needed. But one thing that I really like about Speedway is that when you are traveling and need a restroom, you can always count on them having a clean restroom. Keep up the good work.
