My carpet looks precisely as bad after my carpet cleaning appointment as it did before. There is a good reason for that: they never showed up. I bought a Groupon for an 8-room cleaning and scheduled an appointment a week in advance. The appointment was for any time during a two-hour window between 1 PM and 3 PM. We stayed around waiting all the way until 6 PM. We called both numbers listed on their web site and left voicemails at each asking to call us back and let us know what was going on. Still no response. I'm glad Groupon offers refunds. I do still need the carpets cleaned, of course. I think this time around I'll just pick a well-reviewed place here on Yelp and pay normal price - much more worth it than wasting hours of my life waiting on a no-show. read more

People who have unreasonable expectations should not be allowed to write reviews and hurt local businesses. These guys were nothing but professional and on time. I had to cancel my appointment and reschedule and no problem. Once at my home, I decided I wanted another room cleaned and the guy was so kind! He gave me a huge discount, much less than what Stanley Steamers had charged us a year prior. My sister bought a Groupon and he not only honored the Groupon, but gave me me the same deal WITHOUT a groupon. Then just this month, I called and he remembered us, and MATCHED the groupon price. I was so happy I decided to come here to review, and was surprised to read anything bad about them. I live in the area and I know for a fact Speedkleen was out helping people with their flooded basements. So it's up to you the consumer to take these reviews with a grain of salt. I am a repeated customer and have NEVER had a problem. I mean seriously, you buy a 40something dollar groupon and expect a company to ignore their mile radius restriction and drive all the way out to the city and back AND work. Hahaha! Ok! read more

I wish I would have never used this service!! I honestly don't get what the good reviews are for. Maybe installation and not carpet cleaning? My carpet still looks like crap! They will get a few major stains out and make you think "wow" but that's smoke and mirrors. They will wet the crap out of your carpets,make it smell amazing and then that's it! Once your carpet dries they will look every bit as crappy as they did before. Smh read more

We could not be happier with our carpets or with Mike from Speedkleen! I researched MANY carpet cleaning companies in the area. The most important thing to us was that the products used were eco-friendly and non-toxic. We have a baby and 2 dogs so this was essential. Speedkleen's products do not contain any chemicals, are completely green, and safe for kids and pets. Also they were so reasonable! They were much more reasonable that the other places I researched. I do not think I would have purchased the Living social coupon had I read these reviews. same thing, a no-show the first appointment. not cool since we -re arraigned our plans to be home, also moved everything but the sofa out of the room to be cleaned. he promised first thing the next day. was extremely late. technician did an ok job, however stains that I thought would come out, did not. and get this. HE NEVER LIFTED THE SOFA UP. we had cleaners before, and they usually put little styrofoam blocks under the sofa legs to clean beneath... speedkleen was going for lazy I guess. dont waste your money. read more

They havent even showed up for the appointment yet and I am already mortified. I found a coupon offering one room for free, and the phrase "you get what you paid for" seems almost as if I was jipped! I made the appointment more than a week in advance, and then at 8am the morning of my 10am appointment, I received a TEXT MESSAGE asking if I could move the appointment to later in the afternoon (because their van "broke down". I reluctantly agreed to a 12:30pm appointment time. At 12:30pm, I got a call saying they were 20 minutes behind. Honestly? Bad business already and havent even showed up for the appointment yet! Will not be calling them again. UPDATE: Received a rather nasty text message which prompted an update from my previous review. I had a bedroom carpet and some area rugs cleaned by Speedkleen and was highly satisfied with the service. The young man, Mike, was professional and very courteous. I was also very happy to know that they only use eco-friendly products instead of harsh chemicals. Having pets and kids at home, this is very important to our family. My carpet looked amazing after the cleaning, very fresh and like new again.. I was also very pleased with the fact that he came prepared with booties to wear over his shoes, as we have a no shoe policy in our home. (I've had other companies ignore my no shoe policy request). I recently needed my carpet cleaned on my stairs because I have 2 dogs and wanted to get that "pet smell" out of my carpet and my house before renting out my home. I called Mike on a Friday night and he came out that Sunday. He did a remarkable job! My realtor came to my house after he had cleaned the carpet and the pet smell was completely gone. I purchased carpet cleaning with Speedkleen through Groupon and immediately called the company and left a voice mail. After waiting 2 days, I called again. Still no response call. It has been 2 weeks and I never heard from them. Luckily I paid by credit card and got a refund. What a disappointing experience. read more
