The entire team at Sound Wave is amazing!!! Cydney, aka the "bride's best friend" is incredible. She helped me out with planning and responded RIGHT AWAY with any questions that I had. She truly cares about making your wedding planning and day of your wedding as stress free as possible and goes above and beyond. We were so excited when we found out that Corden was going to be our dj along with his assistant! Corden is such a talented and positive person and really cares about making your wedding day the best day ever, not only for the Bride and Groom but for the guests as well. During our wedding we had so many different guests coming up to us saying your Dj's are the coolest people ever!! Corden not only takes the time to interact with guests but also checked up on us throughout the day to make sure that we weren't stressed and enjoying our day. Ken is SUPER NICE, very professional, and totally willing to work with your musical style. My fiance and I had a fairly eccentric "please play" list, and a huge "please do not play" list, and there were zero problems with any of our selections. He was always prompt when replying to my emails, and patient with my questions (hey, it's my first wedding!). On the wedding day, Ken showed up with plenty of time to set up his equipment. He had no problems working with the church staff to organize cabling and power connections, and he did thorough sound checks beforehand to make sure that everything was working at an appropriate volume. The setup didn't take very long, so afterwards Ken hung out with me and my bridesmaids and ushers as we set up tables/chairs and worked on table decorations, and he even lent a hand here and there as needed. What a great guy! Ken and I had discussed some uplighting packages beforehand, and other than choosing a color for the indoor lighting in the reception hall, I left the rest of the aesthetic planning in his capable hands. When we all finally came through after the ceremony, I was totally blown away! Ken had set up this awesome lighting in the connecting hallway between the church foyer and the reception hall with dark blue lights and laser pinpoints of green...it looked like a tunnel into outer space (which was great, as my husband and I are huge nerds and he knew it). It was such a great surprise, and I was thrilled. I would absolutely recommend DJ Ken for any occasion. He is very up-front about pricing, and for the top-notch level of service that he provides, his prices are extremely reasonable. This is a guy who clearly loves what he does, and does his best work every time. Five stars all around!

While he provided the equipment and a…read morephoto booth, his professionalism and preparation were disappointing. * After the ceremony, he spent about 10 minutes on his phone while the bride and groom waited to be announced. * He played the wrong introduction song and downloaded the wrong track for their choreographed dance, which caused delays and cold meals for over 100 guests. * Instead of handling the mistake discreetly, he interrupted the couple's dinner to explain why it happened. * As an MC, he did not engage with the crowd as expected. Even a song dedication I requested was played without acknowledgment. Our guests still had fun, but these issues caused unnecessary stress on an important day.
