Any other shop in Amsterdam would just sit you down, maybe ask you to wait, but then you get your eye sight checked asap so they can sell you the glasses. Really disappointed. Never again.

One of the worst eyeglass stores in Amsterdam that should in all honesty be shut down…read more Staff is lacking in basic knowledge concerning eyes, eyeglasses and contact lenses. They are incredibly rude if you ask questions and get very defensive rather than providing you with an answer. I have worn the same prescription for years and when I got my eyes tested at this store the outcome was completed different. I suppose this could happen, but naturally I was shocked, because I had an eye exam not that long before visiting their establishment. I asked how this could be and the person just started yelling rather than providing me with an explanation, which one would expect from a company claiming to specialize in eyewear and expecting customers to spend hundreds of euros on something designed to improve their vision. Following this I had my eyes examined at two other companies and these were in line with what I typically have in terms of prescription. Long story short this company uses outdated methods to establish the INCORRECT prescription for eyeglasses and contact lenses. Not only that, but if you question their methods they refuse to explain or provide any guidance. In short: A very unprofessional company, which I would recommend everyone avoid.
