This place is just okay. Minimum effort but gets the job done if you need it. I've only been here twice and both times were very underwhelming. Last time, I was at the drying station with another lady and we chatted about how we were both new to the area and hoped to find a good nail salon. We both agreed that this place was definitely not it. I agree with the reviews that say they are rude. But I don't think it's an offensive type of rude. They aren't ill mannered or nasty but they are certainly not friendly. They just could really care less if you are there or not. It's like they're doing you a favor or something. And while, it's not too terribly off-putting, it's still annoying and a bit condescending. I guess their location gives them the fortune of getting business without trying. In my culture we say, "Their bellies must be so full, they don't need to work hard". This saying comes to mind. The mani/pedi was just okay. But there are other nail salons in the area. read more

Believe the Yelp reviews! I made a big mistake of giving this place the benefit of the doubt so I experienced first hand the crappy, rushed and rude service of Henry. There are 2 guys there, he's the older one (younger one is nice- so I gave 1 star instead of 0, if I could). I asked for pink power. He kept on thinning down the old powder and said he'll put the pink on top of the white powder. I told him I don't want my nails too thick and suggested that he removes the old powder (like other nail parlors do). He said it will take too long. I told him I wasn't in a rush and anyone else can help me if he was in a rush. I wanted it done right. He kept on repeating - next time, you have to tell if you want powder. (I'm not an unreasonable customer, but since there were no other customers waiting and most of the nail attendants were just standing around, I didn't think it was too much to ask and I was willing to pay for it anyway). If he had started soaking my nails when I told him I wanted pink powder, instead of spending sooo much time on that portable nail drill maybe it would have been faster. He seemed in a rush -although he didn't have any appointment after me. I saw him help the next walk-in. Never had that attitude in the other nail parlors I've been to and I've been getting my nails done for 30+ years. THEN he had the nerve to charge me extra. I ended up getting just the simple acrylic (and not gel) because I opted to have the exact shade as my toe nail polish. (As a compromise to the no pink powder). He didn't like that choice either so I guess he charged me for gel anyway. What a nightmare nail place! Go somewhere else!!! read more

Went for a pedicure. Too rushed and I had to wait 15 min more than they told me. Kinda sloppy and the 'massage' was meh.

The staff at this nail shop are rude. Their sign says walk-ins welcome. I felt very uncomfortable when I attempted to walk in and get an appointment. The women in the front told me they didn't have time for me and didn't even offer me an appointment for a later day/time. Not good business practices. I'd give them a zero if possible. read more

This place sucks. They are so unprofessional. First my mom goes in and get her nails done, not even the 2 week mark and not 1 but 2 nails break. So she goes in to get them fixed and the lady who is doing them is in the phone the whole while another phone is just beeping like crazy. My mom voiced her concern and the manager just looked at her like she didn't care. Your running a business, it may not seem like much but being professional goes along way. You just lost a customer. There is a new lady here that ripped my finger nail off today when removing my acrylic nails. She was extremely rough. I left before she could finish because my finger was bleeding. I have gone here for years but will never go again. She was extremely rude, didn't apologize, and was trying to blame it on me. They also charged me when I left. read more

PLEASE!!! I do not know her name -- just pls stay away from the mature lady doing nails there. The younger ones are fine. This has been the only nail salon I have been going to since moving to the area in 2014. I don't go often, but when I do I've never been disappointed... until today -- 1) When you ask for the "regular" pedi service, make sure you specifically ask for the $25 type. I mentioned I wanted the "regular" pedi and I was charged $30 2) When I flinched in pain while the nail tech was cleaning my cuticle & asked her to be gentle bc I'm sensitive, she did not back-off, she proceeded to dig further, cut me which resulted in me bleeding and told me I had a lot of skin the needed to be removed. FYI Nail Establishment: I'd rather have extra skin/cuticles vs an ingrown nail & infection 3) After cutting me & making me bleed, the nail tech had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my nails done also... ummm lemme think, NO! I feel very bad for writing a negative review. Like I said, I've I never had any issues prior to this day. Unfortunately, I will not visit the salon again even though it is closest to my home and work. read more

I'm always very happy with the end results, but these guys really need some basic training on customer service. Last time I was there Hannah propped her phone in such a way so that she could check messages while filing my nails. I can take that she's not the friendliest, but that's the straw that broke the camel's back. read more

So a big part of my pedicure is the massage chair. I really look forward to it. Sadly the first one they put me in (3rd one on the left when you walk in) was barely working and making loud scratchy noises. So I hate to be picky but it had been a while since I've been able to get a babysitter and treat myself to this I asked to move one over. They move me and SAME thing! The lady did ask me if it felt better I automatically answered yes because I thought there was no way two would be faulty but they are. I will say the lady that did my pedi although a bit fast did a good job on my nails. So if you're into massages avoid the 2nd and 3rd chair on your left. I may try a different nail spot next time. recommended by a co worker since we just moved to Rancho. Snuck away for a few hours and decided to get a mani pedi since TJ MAXX had nothing to spend my hubbys money on. LOL The lady at the 1st table helped me, didn't grab her name, but kinda felt like she may have been the owner. very nice and polite, great mani and even picked my color for me. When she was done with my hands she sat me in the pedi chair and let me just sit and soak for a while, which I LOVED. She did my pedi and let me sit there again after I was done. I had 2 whole massage chair cycles AFTER she did my nails. She never tried to rush me out of the chair! Amazing experience. Will definitely be back again. read more

They weren't even busy when I walked in, so I expected to get my mani/pedi separately. Or at least soak my nails in the bowl while they did my pedi. However they did my whole mani while i was getting a pedi. So I couldn't relax I had to cross my left hand over my right arm because she didn't want to walk around. It was ridiculous. She was filing my gel off on top of my lap with no towel. I was wearing black leggings! I had gel shavings all over. I tried to hint to her by blowing away the shavings on my leggings and brushing it away with my other hand. She didn't seem to catch on. I waited an HOUR past my appointment time, which I didn't think was possible.. I understand that it was prom weekend but really? I made the appointment a week in advance. When I finally sat, I had picked out my colors and showed her the design I wanted. She wasn't rough or harsh on my nails, which I really liked. But when she started painting my nails that's when it kinda went downhill. I told her I wanted it at a certain length for my coffin nails, but instead she told me that it would look good shorter, so she ended up cutting it the way she liked.. Which I thought was odd but trusted her. She started to carve my nails coffin style, and I told her I wanted the tip to be skinnier, and she looked at me very strangely so I repeated it again, and she just said "they're fine!" I know what I want and I had the picture right there go show her what I wanted. It was annoying how she didn't consider what I was saying. I like coming here for pedicures, especially gel pedi. The massage is great and the customer service is decent. They have friendly staff and are open and accommodating to walk-ins. Having said that, overall they could do better. I was in today for a manicure, and it wasn't the same as my usual experience of feeling satisfied. Apparently I picked a nail polish that was mood changing, but I didn't know and I don't think my nail artist knew either. When I went to dry I had to find out from another employee. The color ended up being darker than my natural choice of color which i didn't mind. The thing is that it made the polish look messy or unclean. It could've been just this particular nail artist that wasn't very good, but I think all nail artists should be held to the same standard. read more

I asked the lady to do acrylic glitter instead of gel glitter and she insisted on gel so I had to ask her numerous times to do the acrylic glitter. She then grabbed it and copped an attitude the rest of the time I was there, she got super rough with my hands and didn't seem to care about my well being. Love this place! The owners and workers are super sweet, and they give you exactly what you want. They're very flexible and accommodating, and almost always fit me in at the last minute. They have lots of colors to choose from, and have matching gel and regular polish colors! They're quick/efficient, but still produce quality work. The times I go in for a fill and a pedi, they usually get started on my nails midway through my pedi to save time. Side note: they put flower pedals and lemons in the pedicure foot tubs. It's very aesthetically pleasing. Lastly and most importantly, the prices are fair. Not the cheapest I've had, but not the most expensive either. This is definitely my go-to in the area! read more

Poor customer service. Made an appointment for 6:00 PM for 3 pedicures upon arrival we were ignored and looked at then asked what we needed. Stated we have an appointment at 6:00 and nail technician just laughed and continued to work. Another nail tech said for us to pick a color which we did (all nail polishes were old and barely had polish in the) and still waited 30+ minutes. I made an appointment for 6:00 not 6:30, we left and went to Kim's Salon & Spa and were immediately greeted and sat down for a pedicure. Call the customer and cancel if you're to busy to take your appointment or don't accept certain walk ins if you know you have an upcoming appointment and know it will interfere. I have come here about 3 times - once when they first opened, last month and then last week. This last time was great - I was there around 10:30 on Sunday morning, just after opening but they were already busy. I didn't have to wait long for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. The tech took just the right amount of time with me, good massage and technique and my toes look great. My last pedicure would have lasted a month, if only my nails didn't grow! Great selection of colors. Also got my eyebrows done and they were PERFECT. She really did such a great job. I don't give 5 stars because it's a bit pricey for a place that's not super relaxing and there's lots of talking and customer juggling. Being a nail place can't be easy. Lots of personalities come in and can be demanding. I hope this place hangs in there -- it's a great stop before or after TJ Maxx! read more

Id rather go here than Kim's nails. The staff is more friendly and seems to try harder here. Maybe that's because they just opened but hopefully it will stay that way. They carry some Essie Polish which is a plus. The standard pedicure is 25 dollars which I guess is normal around here. 40 for pedi and mani. Jennifer was really good and very observant and polite. The only thing I didn't like were the tubs for the pedicure. It's a bucket of water that they have to dump out. There is no drain so no circulating water and it cooled off a little too quick. The whole idea of the buckets just doesn't sit well with me. I hope they are cleaned well. I think I would come back. read more

I don't know why I waited so long to visit! I was on my way to class at the University of Phoenix campus and was in dire need of a pedicure. I saw this place after leaving TJ Max. I went in and was greeted immediately. Said I was in need of a pedicure and was told pick my color. There was a pretty decent selection of nail colors. After about five minutes I was ready for the chair. The lady who I got my pedi from was Mimi. I know this because all the ladies had on name tags, which I really liked! As I sat she brought over a large bowl type of basin filled with warm water, lemon slices, & rose petals. The whole experience was fantastic. I especial like how hot stones are used for massage in the basic pedicure. Mimi was very patient and attentive since it had been mints since my last pedi (lost my job!). I also would say that I don't think I've ever seen a more clean facility! It was not crowded and compact like other places. The offering of hot tea & water was nice as well. Everyone was so friendly. I would go out of my way to come back to this place. Maybe I'll see how good they are with shellac and designs on my next visit! read more
