The worst company I have ever did business with. I signed up with them at Costco for $22 a month. We tried them for 3 months and every month we got billed at least $45 a month. When we tried to call them, they placed us on hold for 20 min long then a rude customer service caused us to cancel our account on the spot due to her unprofessional way. Now after two months of cancellation we keep getting bills for month service that we are no longer getting. Sparkletts the worst of the worst. Lucky, now we are getting water from another company that has the best service. read more

Worse service I have had in n a long time.They either under deliver or flood you with water. Over billing is what they practiced . When you finally get fed up and pay your bill in full they refused to pick up their equipment and YOU must return it to the warehouse which happen to be 40 mile round trip for me, otherwise a collection agency harasses you about a 200.00 bill for the cooler. What I don't understand is why Costco where (I signed-up)has anything to do with these people. They should be suspended until they get their act together. I cancelled my service a couple weeks ago because they never show up when they are supposed to so I'm stuck with 7 empty bottles in my yard because they come when I dont expect them and never have water when I do expect it. Not to mention, I just think it's overpriced. So they told me I needed to make an appointment to have my equipment and bottles picked up. I chose Monday morning because my neighbor is off that day and I didn't feel safe putting the dispenser and a bunch of bottles out alone. I was afraid someone would steal it. So I drug it outside at 4am before I went to work. I come home in the evening after dark again and its still there. I called customer service and after being on hold for 1 1/2 hours, they told me they would email me with a new pickup. THEY NEVER DID! I need this equipment gone and literally cannot get them to come pick it up! I just called and made another appointment for a whole week after the first one but have so little faith in them that I don't even know if they'll show up. I have emailed twice to let the company know that they delivered the wrong items. They have never responded back so I guess I'll have to pay for that, which I don't want and did not order. I am a senior and rely on this water as my well water has some issues. I am very distressed that apparently, a company that has been doing fairly well for me has taken a turn for the worse. These recent reviews are troubling. Just fix my order, you had time to raise the delivery to near ten dollars, maybe a couple of minutes for the customer now, if that's not too much. Great water but every month there's always an issue. This month I was suppose to get my water delivery yesterday but it didn't come. I called into customer service and they said there was a hold on the delivery from July. It doesn't make sense when I got the delivery in Aug and at the beginning of September. My grandma (the account holder) passed away in November 2022. We noticed a bottle of water was delivered to her house and since I helped set up her account, I called to close the account. This was a terrible experience and I have already told several people to be cautious and avoid Sparkletts. The first frustration was trying to get to a representative, after 30 minutes on hold I decided to have a representative call me back. 2 hours later I received a call, so I'm guessing that's how long I would've been on hold, that is horrendous customer services. Then I explained to the representative my grandma passed which is a touchy subject, I'm sure you can understand and she said she had to transfer me. The new representative didn't know why I was calling so I had to say it all over again, a painful reminder that my grandma is no longer with me. She asked for the account holder name and I gave her the account name. She says, yes I see the account for CT Synergy?? A cardiology group based in Upland, CA. Insane...so I gave her the address and she said oh yes and repeated my grandma's name. That was very sloppy. Now she said I need to provide a birth certificate to close the account. For water??? My mother didn't even need a death certificate to close the utility accounts. I asked the representative, so water can continue to be delivered and no one pays the bill and that's okay? She said she can put the account on hold and but there is a $7 balance that needs to be taken care of. Are you kidding me, $7??? I told her the water that was delivered is still in the same place because, again, my grandma has passed. She said, well we can have someone pick it up but it won't be until 1/19/23. As if I care that it takes you a day and a half to pick it up. She also said, the account will remain on hold until your company receives the documents. Again, as if I care. Then as we ended our call, she said "you can manage your account 24/7 online at www..." as if I had not already told her this is not my account, it's my dead grandma's account. Your staff needs sensitivity training and you need new processes because I'm sure if I called and lied and said my name was Patricia Curran and wanted to close the account, this would have saved me a lot of time and heartache. Unfortunately, my first instinct was not to lie. I wonder what you do with all the accounts for dead people who have not submitted a death certificate. I can imagine this must be an incredibly painful process for a senior citizen who lost their life partner. I think it's a shame and a tactic of your company to make it this hard to cancel water service and will never even consider being a customer after this experience. Very disheartening. read more

Sparkletts is a joke. I was told I would have my stuff delivered on the 23rd never showed up. I called on the 24th to see why I didn't get it they said they couldn't find my address so I had them tell me what address they had some how they took it down wrong so I corrected for they and scheduled them to come out on the 26th. Guess what happened again nothing so I called and once again they took the address down wrong so I gave it to them again and this time had them repeat it to my about 4 times. I scheduled for them to come out on the 27th I called them first thing in the morning to make sure they had the address down right this time witch they still didn't. I gave it to them again but they told me I was scheduled to have them come out on the 30th witch I said no someone needs to come today so I talked to the supervisor Victoria and she told me that they promised it would be her by 5. So when 5:30 came and I still haven't seen or heard from anyone I called again and was told they sent the driver a message to call me asap of where hes at witch I never got a call and still have no water even though in the notes it shows Victoria said it would be here today by 5. If this is how things are going to work for my first time service with you I dont know if I even want to do business with you guys. Update. I've called 5 times today because on my account it says I have a delivery for today on the 28th. Every time I called all I get it is " we can send the driver a message to call you with an eta" I never get a call. Here it is 5:15 PM and I have yet to get any of my stuff. How is it no one can get a hold of anyone to find out anything. This is getting to be a headache an bs. Someone from higher up needs to contact me asap about this. read more

When I initially set up my after delivery service everything went well. But after the first delivery Crystal Fresh was added to my reoccurring delivery when I specifically only wanted Purified Water. The crystal fresh is so harsh on my tongue and very drying. I've updated and double checked and called costumer service about this but they keep delivering crystal fresh. I have to wait weeks to get my proper order even though my account specifically says Purified Water. I don't know why they keep giving me the wrong water. I've had to go out and buy different water because whenever I ask them to come switch it out they never show up. This is a waste of money because I pay for water delivery yet don't get the water I ask for delivered. Costumer service never seems to communicate with the delivery driver. read more

So basically my review is the same as every single one on here. No water for three weeks. I have called, they promised they would come on three different days, nothing. I see all your 'we are so sorry responses' and it's a total write off. You do not care, you have not fixed the problem. You have my personal number, as I have responded to several customer service emails with a poor review and you responded with 'someone will contact you shortly'. Still waiting on that phone call. If you spent half much time actually dealing with the problem has you do on your fake apologies on Yelp, you might still be able to save your business. Signed up a couple of years ago. Everything was fine, the cooler has been reliable the whole time. A few inconveniences needed to be worked out, like if you need a different amount of water bottles than empties you put out then you need to leave a note on the bottles. You can also cancel deliveries if you don't need water so you don't get charged a fee for them just stopping by. The real reason for the 2 stars is they raised the price, it used to be $6.50 and now it is $8.00 plus an energy surcharge. You can still get Sparkletts water at Home Depot for the old price so I'm not sure what the point of getting it delivered anymore is. I suggest just buying a cooler and picking up your own water. read more

Shortly after my review the collection company Sparkletts uses (A.G. ADJUSTMENTS, LTD.) sent this back to them, as I disputed the charges. On 12/08/2017 Sparkletts sent an email that shows they wrote off all the charges as bad debt. The only thing I can think of that makes any sense with this company is they're not trying to make money and keep customers, this is a write off for the parent company. It also makes me consider Costco differently, as I always thought they did a pretty decent job vetting vendors and products they offer through their stores. read more

This is a follow up and also a new complaint. This company has little compassion or empathy compared to what you have for them. Don't expect any help or understanding with payments or expecting your delivery on time. I never complained about my water showing up at 7pm or later yet when you make a late payment they give you no sympathy and skip you even though your account is paid in full. I've been a customer of Sparkletts for 23 years. Up until about a year ago everything was fine. I receive Flouridated water from them and as I said before everything was fine. Then I have to call because the service route representative has not delivered my water. Everytime I call customer service they tell me they will send an email... Really an email instead of calling?? Then when I do receive a return call it's full of excuses and I'm told I will receive my water the following day. Happened twice during the holidays which as you can imagine put me in a shortage. Wish I could give this place a negative star, ha da down the most shady Terri led unreliable service I have ever had. I signed up at Costco eater came twice and hey continued to charge me for water even thought they kept not delivering. When I signed up I did the 2 bottles and then by the time ai cancelled they tried to pull a fast one saying O was on the 5 water plan. It gets even better now after I cancel I get a call from collections saying Sparkletts has sent me into collections. I try repeatedly to contact Sparkletts that in itself is a joke and ai finally get in touch with someone and they say the issue is resolved (I spent 2 hours on the phone with the person resolving it) and then I get another call saying it's still in collections and nothing had been resolved. I've been having so many issues with my account! It's absolutely ridiculous! The latest issue was not even getting my water delivered, even though they picked up my empty bottles. They said my account was "locked" even though I had a zero balance due!! Then they said "sorry for the inconvenience and they will reschedule for Monday". Well guess what?! No water again!! After years and years of reliable dedicated service my opinion of Sparkletts water as a whole has literally changed into a negative stomach ache issue. For 9 years we had Sparkletts delivery service with the same driver every week named David, he was awesome, helpful and reliable we moved and he still continued to be our service provider which thrilled me! A year after we moved David was gone and every delivery was someone new, disappointing yes, but not tragic until somehow our delivery service stopped. I called to inquire what had happened and for some reason our automatic payment had stopped and they never even reached out to notify me just stopped service, but kept charging. At that point I just updated our payment into even using our bank account rather than a card to ensure this wouldn't happen again, 2 months later and again no water delivery I called again pretty upset now and again my automatic payment stopped not because of any reasoning on my end so I said you no what I'm done cancel our acct this is complete crap after so many years and not even having a department to notify customers or send a bill! Well fast forward a year and I just found out they put my account into collections even though everything that happened was in my opinion the company's fault I had to pay it so it doesn't reflect on my credit! I am absolutely disgusted with this water service. I have tried to call over a dozen times and have sat on hold for at least an hour each time before getting disgusted and hanging up. I cannot reach anyone on the phone or through the website or email. My cooler has been leaking and I have not had a water delivery in 4 weeks. I have been a customer for over 5 years and I am done. This company has gone to hell and does not care about its customers at all. Especially those of us that are in the desert who need water because we are working in extreme temperatures. Went to Costco 2 weeks ago and my husband was talking to the Sparklett's rep. He ended up signing us up [which I thought was a bad idea] and told us we'd get set up the following week. That never happened and we ended up calling Sparlett's the following day. Lady said we were pushed back and that we'd receive it Monday. That never happened. My husband called back again and they said we'd been pushed back again (that someone should've called us). At that point he said FORGET IT, I don't want it. Well the lady BEGGED him not to cancel, assured him that someone would deliver that day. He told her if they're not here by the end of the day to cancel his service. The first delivery was great. The second one they never showed, called customer service they said they'll come out the next day (17th) and didn't show up. I checked our account and they scheduled it for the next day (18th). It's after 5:00 PM and still no bottles. I checked our account and it has a delivery date of the 22nd so i called customer service. On their end, they have our delivery date down for the 30th. In light of the response that I received from this review. I will continue to rate this company with one star. I've been contacted by sparkletts in riverside to "patch things up" and rather that then trying fix the issues that they have or insure that every delivery I get won't miss one to two items, they wanted to confirm the cancellation date, as though my experience was not important enough to correct. I had one great year with this company and since my move to riverside my service, with lack of a better phrase, has sucked. Moving on to another water company. If you live in riverside you should save your self some time and find something else. I had great service when I lived in Rancho Cucamonga, so I'm sure other branches may not be so bad. read more

He could be out to my house by 8pm his last appointment, I got no show no call. Again customer service said they very busy and they could come out next Friday. So we signed up for delivery service last week, was told it would be delivered on the following Monday....that Monday comes and nothing. Called to find out the delivery was pushed back one day, we were never notified of a delivery change. Next day came, nothing again was delivered. Called again, found out it was pushed back another day. Next day comes nothing again, service center says they email the route manager and he would be in contact with us, he never calls. But the service enter did say deliver is set for the next day. Just called to confirm a delivery for today and service center says it has been pushed out to the next week. I have been trying to get an initial delivery for 5 days now. Original delivery was supposed to be on 8/7, then 8/8, then 8/9. Here we are the 12th of August & no water. Let alone a call from anyone back with any updates. Have called everyday & speak to someone different each time. Have to go through the entire story each time with the new representative. They showed up late with the wrong water on the first delivery. the following week they delivered 2 more bottles that i did not order (also the wrong type of water). the equipment (water bottles and cooler) was very dirty i had to wash it. Now i'm 2 weeks into the service and i have a $75 bill (keep in mind, my first month should have been free and $30 after that). when i called to get the bill fixed, they said they will credit my account. well, it's been a week and i still have no credit and a bill of $75 for 4 bottles of water and 3 weeks of service. Where to start with this company. I thought the call center was very rude and non accommodating. I advised the operator that the tech was late for his service call, it was 2 days after a new filtration system was installed it stopped working. My company supports over 50 employees at this time and the system is there clean drinking water. Now it's been down for 2 days going into the weekend, so another 2 days before I MIGHT GET SERVICE! I explained to the operator we needed the service Friday and she said the tech would be calling, no call! She didn't offer any extra help IE: sending out a manager to deliver some water to hold us over, any kind of discount due to non use for at least 5 days of being unusable. I'm from the old school where the customer is ALWAYS right! So like all I can do is take my business account to a competitor for better service. I see several in my area that have over 4 stars and I'll be calling them right away to set up estimates for Monday. SORRY, NOT SORRY SPARKLETTS. BUT YOU ARE TERRIBLE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! read more
