There are two food huts. Fun fact the food huts serve two menus. The kiddos favorite is the large pizza. If you order a large pizza, it is from little Caesars. If you order by the slice, it is not the little Caesars brand. Every time I enjoy the hotdog over their hamburger. If we get to hot the Italian Ice pops always are refreshing. Some people take an alfresco lunch at their vehicle. You can leave an ice chest in the car for a cheaper alternative under the trees. This location has grown every year I visit. The raft water slides are my favorite. It really is a blast. The kids that are not tall enough to ride have many alternatives. There are many play areas with a water play land kid tiki hut. Free life jackets are available. Everyone in our party enjoys time in the two lazy rivers. You can reserve a cabana to hide from the sun. I arrived here knowing no one, yet they have helped me in many ways, from personal physical help with heavy lifting to local vehicle suggestions for fair priced help to travelers! I have stayed for 4 months and will return to winter here because of the way these people have treated me. I could not ask for a better experience.. Everything you need is very near.. small town attitude although so near I-10! I am excited to see the Waterpark open.. This should be a fun summer! Thank you for being what you are Smith Lake .. After a while the park manager decided he didn't like how our vehicles looked while they were parked on our concrete slab that we paid for every month and told us to get rid of it or he'd evict us! So we decided to leave and we paid for the whole month so we asked for a refund for the remaining week of the month. Not only did he refuse the refund but made a snide racist remark about my fiancé who is mixed. Even though our lot was always clean and tidy he accused us of being trashy and low class. In an RV Park!!! He also was always overly attentive to me and other young women at the park to the point of harassment! Always asking where I was going and if my fiancé was home or not... CREEPY!! On top of all of that the park manager (Ricky) was almost never responsive to maintenance requests and would often claim we hadn't paid our lot rent and would get irritated when we showed him our receipt of payment!! So we will NOT be staying here ever again and I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for peace, quiet, and privacy! This place is awful.
