The prices at this Spar market are reasonable just like any other Spar in Austria, and it's so much better than going into one of the gift shops next-door and buying overpriced soft drinks. Everything is less expensive here, even the Mozartkugel, and the quality is great. You can also get some sundries and fresh bread, yogurt, soft drinks, chips, fruit, meats....whatever you need. The service is efficient and good like all Spar stores and it's actually cute inside because it's a very old classic building (the Mozart house!) with vaulted ceilings.

They're stocked for some tourists --- lots of pool toys, local liquors in novelty bottles, and hip flasks already loaded with schnapps. The meat looks to run from "as cheap as possible" to "reasonably nice"; the bread does the same. Veggies and fruit were reasonable. I usually look for something a little fancier than SPAR, but there's not much competition here --- and this one's fine.

Bring your own bag to avoid additional charges. Billa stores come in different sizes some of which offer indoor seating to have a quick bite. Don't forget to buy a can opener or cork screw for that bottle of wine! LOL!!! Liquor beer and wine are readily available along with tobacco products.
