Kouter, Gent review - This place should be illegal - rotten food on the shelves, food past its…read moreexpiration date. The three times I have shopped here I saw expired products each time. The place stinks the minute you walk through the door. The produce is often rotting. The cheese section is very dangerous and many cheeses past their expiration date. I did not see this and bought one home, had a slice that night and promptly got food poisoning. I also want to complain about the staff that are at the cash registers. They are super unfriendly, don't want to move to check prices, the older lady with the gray hair is a wretch. Other reviews on Google also mention everything I have mentioned. This place is an embarrassment to Gent. I warn you that if you do go make sure to check the expiration dates so you don't get violently ill. In the USA a place like this would be shut down immediately. Are there inspectors in the land that check these places out??
