Serves a purpose. My time going there they had these special holiday timed themed offerings of gin and cookie tins, quite nice in my opinion. Several self checkouts. Staff seemed "busy" but were happy to stop when asked to answer my question. My only wish is they were available after going through airport security when departing (on the gates side). But that's no fault of the location.

Prices are just a little higher than regular shops, but again, this stuff is excellent. Sandwiches, crisps, sodas, salads are all ready to eat. There is also an excellent selection of ready-to-heat meals, such as pizzas and soups and Indian foods. And some stuff that needs preparation, like salmon and chicken breasts and minced beef. This location is land-side, at the North end of the arrival waiting area.

As…read moreits the holiday season, there were plenty of options for the kids to choose from, some department stores, others specialty stores. There's an Argos. My husband loves Argos.... Does anyone else think its the most exceptional place on earth? A good sized sainsburys. Variety of coffee shops, food trucks and restaurants. Outdoor pedestrian streets but we coped without coats. One surprise was the number of people smoking/vaping. It was difficult to avoid.

They not only anxious to please, but go out of their way to do the extra things such as directions on their on mobiles; how rare! Free ATM, liquor, wine, Lochmuir smoked salmon, magazines galore, flower shop. The U.S. Needs to study this concept of service a bit. They were called "service stations" in days of yore but nomore, nomore.

Unlike Tesco! For a smallish store it certainly has plenty of choice. I've never been unable to find what I want/need or a suitable alternative and whilst it might be classed as a convenience store you don't pay conveinience store prices as its part of a big group. Their membership (loyalty) scheme is one of the best and can be paid straight into your bank account or you can opt for vouchers, or donate some or all of your 'Share of the profits' to community projects. No messing about with points or prizes! I love the fact they were the first to promote Fairtrade and support green issues long before their rivals or before it became trendy. As a 'Member' you also get a real say on how the Co-op is run. The store also has an off licence, lottery machine, pay point, sells newspapers etc. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell. A real asset in the community!
