The university urgently needs to improve its nighttime security. Right now, coverage is extremely…read morelimited, and during certain hours there is no security presence at all. This creates an unsafe environment for students, especially those who have late classes, work evening shifts, or live on campus. A major university should prioritize student safety, and consistent, visible security at night is a basic expectation. Strengthening security staffing and patrols after dark would make a meaningful difference.

Outdoor classrooms, variety of activities, animals and environmental education, combination of facilitated and open play, great communication, gender neutral facilities and all gender supportive community, easy drop off and pick up, sliding scale enrollment fees based on ability and scholarships available. It's tough to register, though, as spaces are swooped up VERY quickly, and this year they capped families at two weeks for the summer.

It was only when I arrived -- in the Summer of 2022 -- that I found they had a mask policy that prevented those of us with medical conditions that make such things dangerous from entering. They have the right to exclude whoever they wish, but to do so without clearly advertising the exclusionary policy is irresponsible. Shame on these curators.

I wanted more for my son for his early year than day care so my wife and I spent the extra money to send him here. We have no regrets. Felice DiMartino, Kirsten Dudkiewicz, Kathy Holmes and Liz Montgomery are badasses! They always have plans for the kids and are very attentive to their needs and wants which is really fakking hard sometimes. They are great! Totally worth the money.
