Getting SERVICE from a building full of PUBLIC SERVANTS shouldn't be this hard. Its listed as Inman Park Lockbox and apparently use to be a real jail cell from back in the 1800's... An interesting remnant of a bygone era, the OMJC or the "iron maiden" was used by foot patrolmen to temporarily hold prisoners waiting for the paddy wagon in the 1880s (according to Atlanta Walks). Surprisingly, it's in good condition with a working door. It is rather skinny with only tiny skylights for lighting...not recommended for anyone with claustrophobia or nyctophobia. The OMJC stands alone at Delta Park in Inman Park. This tiny triangular shaped park is in the middle of 3 intersections. Hence the name? Also found at Delta Park is a historic civil war marker that has nothing to do with the OMJC. Free and not touristy. Parking is street. A quirky slice of history... maybe Atlanta has been a little offbeat all along!

The only personnel that has tried to assist in the problem to correct the situation that has been reported is Mrs. Bishop and Ms. Avanne. These so called officers who have nothing more to do then say something about your clothes, jewelry, hair, watches or anything else that they want to pick on you about. They tell you what you can't wear and turn around and let another person go in with it on?? They are nasty and rude"God forbid you ask them a question'. We wait in a line every weekend just to be first in line to see our family members just to be told "Sorry our computers are down, or we're short staffed its gonna be a while". It's not our fault what problems y'all have. We are the ones who suffer! How can it be something "EVERY" weekend? What we didn't know was that his license was suspended as he failed to appear for some ticket months prior. Poor form, guy. I tried to smooth talk one half of the good cop/bad cop configuration to no avail. The cranky one told me not to bother showing up to that detention center for a few hours. This advice proved golden as I ignored my ex's increasingly frantic calls. It was 3 am and there were too many phone prompts for me to handle each time, SORRY. Around noon I was able to bail him out. Shoutouts to Bond, James Bond for that. He spent 8 hours in the clink as a fat Jewish dude amongst a bunch of skinheads and a waifish guy in tights rolling his balls off. He told me he ate prison sausage. We got some shitty brunch. I think we're getting back together.

You get cup for water or blanket for up to (one month) pretty much have to take others. Toilet paper isn't a thing there. Cops will pepper ball you if you look at them wrong.
