Of the alien attractions in downtown Roswell, this was my favorite one- it was my first VR experience, and I thought it was pretty cool to experience. The kids liked it as well. They also have a Lego museum that's next door that we did not do, and offer alien tours where they drive you around. Might try one of those other ones the next time. read more

Had a great experience!!! We are not residents of New Mexico and thought this would be great to add to our trip to Roswell. Definitely a good pick after going to the International UFO Museum. Super awesome staff took good care of my father who hasn't got the best stability and uses a rolling style walker. This was also his first VR experience (he's 77), they were so patient with him as well as checked on him throughout the experience. I just wish the "pods" had better seating but this was really fun. My husband and two sons watched both the videos if there were more departures they probably would have stayed for all of them. The gift shop was more geared towards the littler travelers. Definitely recommend! read more

Outstanding!!! This was inevitable of the best stops in Roswell. The VR was amazing. My kiddos loved it so much they wanted to watch it again right after. The story was good and we only saw one of two movies they show. read more

Very cool place! Something fun to do in Roswell! We got 2 options of programs to choose from. We chose the shorter 20 minute option, that was the Roswell incident from the alien point of view. They allowed our small toy poodle inside with us. Maybe because we were the only one's in there? It was like we were entering a spaceship, and waited for our "attendant" who was dressed the part to take us back to where we were hooked up with the virtual reality glasses and got a full show, it was just like you were there, when you look around, you get different view points like you're walking around and on the ship! The story was corny, but fun and good, and they have a nice little gift ship inside! read more

Wow we really enjoyed this experience. We did both shows (you get a discount). One note--get the earplugs/headphones to cancel out the outside noise and "echo" that can be annoying. The apollo 11 experience was our fav. the 3d VR was so real I felt like I was gonna fall 1000 ft and kill my real self back in the lab like the movie "the matrix". I won't say much more to spoil your experience but don't miss the Apollo 11 experience. The 1947 was a bit "hokey" and more tourist like roswell conspiracy theory but still entertaining. read more

Okay so this was an interesting place, curiosity brought me here. I did like the decor and the "crew mate" aspect. One important note is that there are NOT scheduled "flight" times. You CAN walk in and just do the 20 minute VR. That being said if they do honor reservations (which I'm sure they do) if you have a party of more than 4 i would reserve ahead of time since a room is usually 4 headsets. My lack of stars was due to noise and video quality. I don't have much experience with VR but the experience shown was the quality of maybe Skyrim? Like low resolution video game where you control where your facing via moving and you can't see arms like you would in a game. The POV is more of a floating 3rd perspective until the very end. Honesty the quality and sort of glitches in motion kind of made it funny to me? In a weirdly endearing way. But I feel like most people would expect a better quality, I know I did. The main problem is the noise. It's all just cubicles. They do provide ear buds free of charge if you're having trouble hearing but that doesn't erase the problem really. I had to push them in even closer and it was still noisy from other guests. It should really be separate rooms to try to break the noise up a bit. It was also my third try and the emptiest I had seen it that day. I avoided going when any young children were around for that very reason and it was still pretty noisy. I wonder if they had captions available, I definitely would've opted in. I did manage to fit my glasses in the viewfinders but they were very small Harry Potter esque ones that didn't really bulge from my face. If you must use glasses i would request they try to fit it on you before you commit to the experience. At $15 this is the most expensive Roswell attraction I've heard of / been to. I feel like $10 would be a bit more reasonable given the quality of the video and space but it's a business that needs to make profit. read more

Very Outerspace feeling. Even the workers uniforms. My dad and I went on a Tuesday or Wednesday so it wasn't very busy. We really enjoyed the virtual experience. We picked the 1947 UFO crash. read more

I had higher expectations. I didn't find the graphics very great and the stools you sit on for the duration were uncomfortable. The employees were very kind and helpful. The gift store was cool with planet stuffy's and a ton of space LEGO. I'm not sure I would recommend it to a friend. read more

You can pick 1 of 2 journeys and then go sit in a mini cubicle to enjoy the VR that last about 25-30 min. The graphics weren't all the great (not sure if having glasses had anything to do with it ‍) and the head set wasn't too comfy. There's 4 people per cubicle so be careful when moving around your chair so you don't hit one another or crash into the walls. "Flights" are not prescheduled so you can come whenever and enjoy. Stopped through Roswell on a trip through the Midwest, wanted to capture all the UFO/alien experience we could. Spaceport--a virtual reality center that opened late 2020--was great! The staff is friendly, dressed in Star Trek-esque gear, and provide the full virtual, traveling-to-outer-space experience. Your VR goggles are relatively comfortable, and guide you through a space simulation depicting (one version/story) of the Roswell 1947 crash. When wearing the VR, I recommend you look all around you--there are even stars/events above and below your field of view! Great experience, would definitely recommend for any UFO enthusiast. read more
