Due to the lack of recent reviews, I didn't know what to expect. Overall, my daughter had a great experience! They were a little less structured than other summer camps (in activities) but she was still happy and I liked how flexible pickup and drop off times were (as long as we did not go over 10 hours). It worked well for both parent's schedule. Unfortunately, they couldn't offer any field trips this summer (at least when my daughter went from mid-July to mid-August). Would recommend.

We have been coming to this facility for five months (8yo & 14yo) and have seen very little progress. 1. Low Value and Inexperienced Staff: Paying $150 per month for short 15-minute lessons is far too expensive for the quality of service provided. The instructors do not appear experienced, and the short duration is simply not enough time for real skill development. 2. Constant Instructor Turnover Disrupts Learning: We experience frequent instructor changes, sometimes on a weekly basis. Because of this high turnover, the children struggle to get comfortable and have a difficult time adjusting to different teaching styles. This constant switching causes children to struggle with basic instructions and slows down their learning pace immensely. It feels like focus is on cycling through as many students as possible, rather than focusing on actual student progress and ensuring the kids get enough quality instruction. 3. Dismissive Management: My interactions with Daniel, the owner, were the most disappointing part of our overall experience. When I approached him for a conversation, his demeanor was dismissive and disrespectful. Instead of listening to a customer, he used his authority as the owner to shut down the dialogue entirely.

My oldest kids had a variety of instructors during the evening offerings for after school and my youngest kids have thrived with Henry as their weekday morning instructor from beginning classes through the intermediate levels as well. The admin staff is super helpful and a great resource for questions. Shout out to Brooklynn! Yes, registration can be a huge pain but I think that's to be expected for any high demand organization (which this is). The servers can only handle so much and should not be a reflection of all that West Coast has to offer. I am so pleased that West Coast offers such excellence in their program that encompasses both safety (which is a huge priority for me), but also the benefits of swimming as a lifestyle and a quality form of healthy exercise for one's entire life. Despite attending summer camp daily, his evaluation showed a regression--with no clear explanation. When I raised concerns, I was met with defensiveness and vague responses also surprisingly rude attitude. Communication with instructors was discouraged. While the instructors seem capable, the system feels rigid, opaque, and dismissive of parent feedback. We gave this program six months of patience and good faith. Sadly, transparency and accountability were never part of the equation.

In her last season she experienced retaliation from a coach, emotionally immature leadership, and conduct that violated their own handbook. When concerns were raised by multiple families, ownership declined to meet and responded with: "We believe we can move forward from here and work towards a positive season." Our daughter was eight years old. She lost confidence. She lost skills. Schedules changed constantly. Classes were added mid-season at an extra cost because, in their own words, they had too many girls to teach new routines at once. The list goes on. If you do choose to trial, ask about attrition. We are aware of at least five or six girls leaving a team of fifteen this season alone. That speaks volumes. Competitive gymnastics demands clear communication and genuine investment in every child. You will not find that here.

We loved the coach, and watching from the observation area, I was really impressed with the caliber of instruction and serious, but genuinely kind manner. As a parent, this was a valuable opportunity for my child to try new, challenging things and also to grow in grit and confidence. We loved it! The only reason I knocked off a star is that they do mandatory rolling enrollment, basically an auto pay type situation. They allow you to opt out under certain conditions, and the staff are really nice, but it would be nice if they offered an option to do one session at a time for the beginning classes, especially.

She is professional, engaging, friendly yet strict with the girls! It takes a good balance to be all the above. I love that my kid looks forward to class each week, and she is learning actual dance techniques. They also have a Nutcracker performance for the public in the winter and a spring recital. It gives the girls a true performance opportunity and something to work towards. Absolutely love the quality and staff. It is a smaller space inside so the parents are huddled to watch their dancers, but I don't mind it much because I'm too busy looking at my kiddo.
