Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. I was a bit skeptical at first, I was worried I would have to go get my camera recalibrated. (I have a 2022 Honda Accord). It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative than giving your money to the dealerships. Safelite is a trusted national company which insurance carriers use, but that quote was too high!!! Diamond Auto Glass (1905 E. Shady Grove Rd. Irving, TX 75060) charged me a total of $140.00 including taxes. $85.00 for the glass only, and the difference for labor and taxes. I can buy 3 USA made windshields at Diamond Auto Glass, for 1 Chinese made windshield at Safelite. I highly recommend this company which was bustling with business. I saw over 15 people and a Irving Police vehicle getting their windshields replaced.
