John is the BEST! He solved my problem the same day I called him! I had called another "spa doctor" and it took several days for them to send someone out. Just the diagnosis cost me $165. Then the young man that they sent out said it was a circuit board problem. He never called me back. After calling them, the manager gave me a quote of $750 to replace the whole control panel and circuit board because they couldn't be sure if it was one or the other..... I called them several times to set up the repair..... GOOD thing they never called me back because after 3 days of no response, I then called SPA FIXERS and John not only gave me some tips to try before he came out but after those tips didn't solve the issue, he came out the very same day! He fixed the problem - it was a pressure switch which costs less than $250 with labor. Along with that, John educated me on how to test the ph and other things to keep my spa in good condition. I called John after calling another repair shop( a mistake). He spoke with me at lengths but could not diagnosis the trouble over the phone. He arrived on time and professionally. He spent the better part of an hour trying to pinpoint the issue. After finding the problem, he gave me the link where I could find the part and easily install it myself ( saving $100 in labor!). He also gave me some warranty info that I was unaware of. He's definitely not into up selling you. If you ever have any issues with your hot tub, call John immediately. Excellent Service. Put in request yesterday and he arrived today around 11 and is already done with the service. He had the needed motor with him. Very knowledgeable. Other Spa companies told me that they do not service this brand of spa. Not only did he replace the motor but he also corrected the work done by The Spa Doctor from 2015. The Spa Doctor charged us for two heaters but only attached 1 and had left an open wire. Both issues were fixed. Definitely the first person I will call for all future spa repairs and service. My spa developed a leak which was impossible to detect due to the amount of insulation they spray on these things. Through Johns experience in spa repairs he knew where the likely problem was and was able to locate it. He repaired it with better materials than the original factory product as well. Excellent and quick service from John! We recently moved our Coast Spas over to our new home, and it failed to start up. We contacted John yesterday, and after sending some pictures of the panel, he could already tell what was likely wrong. He spotted corrosion on the heater terminals and recommended we replace the heater. Via text, he quoted me a fair price and said he was available next day!! Quick and prompt service. When he came by, he confirmed his diagnosis and was able to fix the issue same trip. John is extremely knowledgeable and informative, patiently answering all the questions we had. They responded by email right away and diagnosed the problem remotely. They said I needed a new heater and gave me a link to the specific one I needed to purchase. Then I never heard back again. We found excellent reviews for Spa Fixers and were delighted that not only would he come work on our spa in Coloma, but he came up the next day on a Saturday to do the repairs. We had a leak! From the first phone call to the final fix, John was professional and very helpful. Mind you this wasn't an easy fix. Finding a leak on a large spa isn't easy and required insulation removal and lots of patience. Once found (glue joint gave out) John set up a time to come back to fix the pipes since the spa had to be empty to work on it. John showed up as scheduled, got the work done and was very honest with us. Spa Fixers/John did a great job of fixing our 2003 Sundance Spa. He knows his stuff. I was so happy to find this company that a neighbor recommended. I emailed John with pictures of the leak in our spa and he even responded on Memorial Day with advice on how we might fix it. We don't really have the ability or tools to do it, but I was impressed that he was willing and generous enough to help us that way. We had him come do the work for us and he was great.
