My massage therapist was Po (sp) and she was amazing. She was welcoming and had a positive vibe. I like a lot of pressure and she delivered. She asked where I needed focus, to which I said my shoulders. My left shoulder muscle is tense, like you can feel the that band of muscle is tough whereas there are tiny knots on my right shoulder muscle. She knew exactly what to do to and really worked them! My shoulders feel so much better! And my facial with manuka honey was fantastic, especially the head massage. Po asked if it'd be okay if there's oil in my hair, which was fine with me. Seriously say okay to this! The massage almost put me to sleep, but I wanted to stay awake to experience every moment. I assume she can do the same without oil, but it probably wouldn't have been the same intensity. In the lobby, there are comfortable seats to relax before and after. There's also water and ice tea. I recommend Po and Body Sanctum if you need to pamper yourself. Treat yo self!

It was my lucky day because for about 45min of the massage, there were 4 hands on me!, meaning two people were working on me at no extra charge!!! Wow, was it wonderful. The space is small but clean and privacy curtains make it a very personal experience. One thing to note is that is doesn't get completely dark which my interrupt your relaxation but it isn't that bad. Bottom line -- I recommend this place and wil be going back on my last full day here before my flight because it was that good.

Special price today was $85NZD for 45 minutes reduced by $5NZD. That's about $57USD, a bargain worth every dollar in either currency. I was a walk in today but they do make reservations. Try it.
