Don't even consider putting yourself through the living nightmare this bank can dish out. I had a charter bank account which was bought up by center state. I had two accounts. With charter they were linked to prevent overdraft. This was not done, I found out the hard way.
In the past few weeks the website has been down not for hours but days! Today my main account was shutdown due to the fact it had been
inactive and with zero balance for (wait for it) 15 days! My backup account has a thousand in it. My debit card can only draw on the main account, but it is no longer available. My checks are also invalid. Therefore I cannot pay my bills. Oh simple, just jog on down to the bank cos no straight answers at customer service. Simple if you aren't eighty and partially blind. I will have to wait until I can round up a relative. Which is just as well, it will give me time to calm down. Beam me up Scotty. read more
