Then at front desk of ER, threw up again. No doctor examined, just gave her half a zofran for nausea. 40 minutes to get a head ct. now it's an hour. I ask About results as I saw this as an emergency before they suppressed the nausea. "oo it's down time" that's the response I got as if I know what it means. After I inquired what it means, I was told the system is down, 3 hours. "This is normal" I inquired this is head trauma, does she have a brain bleed and we're waiting 3 hours for results? "On no they replied, we'd know that almost immediately, they'd call down" of so my daughter is fine? From what we know they reply. they continue, "we are just waiting on the paper work. Wtf mind of system is this? Is this not negligent, nobody checked her eyes, airway, reflexes, NOTHING. I am sure this will cost a billion dollars. I feel as tho they want me to walk out but what kind of parent would I be to not wait for a dumb paper to be "official" Horrible bed side manor too.

Told her to go to see an eye doctor they told her she had a stroke, she went back to the hospital just for them to do absolutely nothing. Treated her poorly and one doctor was laughing and grinning about the innocent. How are people suppose to know answers if these so called "doctors" don't know damn thing and don't give a shit. Plus they moved her into a room that was covered in ants. On the bed, on the ledge of the window, the remote control and the cellphone and hospital phone. Such poor cleaning in this place hope this place gets what's coming to them they absolutely suck.

I was brought to Good Samaritan's ER after having what felt like a throat closing reaction to huge…read moreamounts of fresh paint at Brunswick (psych) Hospital. Brunswick Hospital had my name misspelled and had literally told me I was wrong about my name and medical history. NYU which sent me to Brunswick and had initiated the misspelling had told me I had never been a patient in NY hospitals before. Both hospitals found out this was wrong but neither of them told me, changed my name band, updated my records, or acted any differently. In fact, staff at Brunswick kept calling me by the wrong name and I had no choice but to agree that was my name. The social worker at Brunswick maintained I had no health issues or health insurance, which is really odd given that they xeroxed my health insurance card on admission. Can you imagine psychiatrists and others telling you that your name is not your name and your medical history is not your medical history? The nurse at Good Samaritan asked if I had been to Good Sam before. While the answer was yes, I said I don't know because of the above. She gave me a name band with my name spelled correctly. I showed her my name band from Brunswick with the misspelling and I told her there was an issue with my name and its spelling. I think I even told her I couldn't be the person named on the Good Samaritan name band and showed her the "correct" spelling from Brunswick because I was feeling very stuck as I had been told I was not that person by NYU and Brunswick. I was later informed that it is not Good Sam's job to inform another hospital of instances like this where another hospital's nameband does not match the patient and the patient discusses it. I was given Benadryl for the allergic reaction and the Benadryl made me quite delusional. I was not delusional when I got to Good Sam but was after the Benadryl. I was also back to sane before they sent me back to Brunswick. Brunswick's nursing staff left me alone at Good Sam after a few hours and so Good Sam's staff absolutely knew when I was delusional and when I was not. They should have noticed that I was delusional only when under the influence of Benadryl and should have had questions. They did not. I was informed this is not their job as they are not psychiatrists. I was futher informed that they had no reason to suspect anticholinergic toxicity despite my having had multiple symptoms of it - in fact, they found rationale for why each of those symptoms should have been overlooked. Good Sam sent me back to Brunswick with at least one of Good Sam's nurses knowing my Brunswick name band had an incorrect name on it and my saying there was an issue. I say at least one but chances are it was far more than one. Good Sam should have told Brunswick to correct my name and tell me that there had been a glitch, that people made a mistake, and that they knew I was who I had said I was and that my medical records had been found. They also missed the extremely clear issue of what was causing me to be "mad as a hatter," and many other things. Upon receiving my complaints, Good Sam did tell me that Brunswick sent over paperwork that had a sticker with the correct spelling of my name placed over the original printed incorrect spelling of my name. They sent me back to Brunswick with papers that had the correct spelling of my name but I was literally never given those papers. This is literally the craziest story ever. I Good Sam is perhaps a minor player here but they could have done something and they missed a medical diagnosis.

I believe she said her name was Eileen. She was nasty and very unprofessional. She wouldn't even allow me to fully ask my question before cutting me off. She even abruptly hung up the phone when she thought I was done talking. How I felt after having this call, I wouldn't recommend this place to a dying enemy.
